1. Manon and Lara did not audition prior to the group, they were scouted meaning they have no goal or intention to be in a girl group in the first place. Which is why they are in the same shoes and they are always for each other. 2. it's reasonable for their backlash because even MISSY criticizes her and helped her before. So it is natural for audience to do that.
It's a PR move, they seen the drama wasn't enjoyed like they thought so now they're cosplaying sunshine and friends. If it had worked like they wanted they wouldn't be worried about clearing anything up.

My 2 cents about this whole thing, was that HYBE has to released the documentary knowing it contains a lot of drama that people will eat up, example is this video and countless of other videos regarding this matter. They know it’s gonna blow up and shift the people’s attention to KATSEYE and not LSFM. Why LSFM? It was obvious that they were getting a lot of hate because of Coachella and apparently lip syncing, they know that this documentary will have the audience attention to KATSEYE and question if their bond is really true or pr. Because at the end of the day, the whole documentary was unnecessary but I guess for someone new like KATSEYE, bad publicity is still publicity

I genuinely believe hybes marketing strategy is controversy. Almost every one of their groups have had drama but it makes people talk about them, and it works. They’re very successful. It’s been working so far but idk for how much longer. Maybe it’ll always work cus people love drama🤷🏿♀️. Pretty much every new jeans and le sserafim comeback has been riddled with controversy, at this point it’s so much it kinda feels purposeful. I think Hybe knows what they’re doing.
Dani was shocked when she had to dye her hair and now dyed it blonde again as she hates her heritage and she has professional dancer parents so that’s why she is good and she said she didn’t even like K-pop so shouldn’t even be allowed on it. Lara laughed at manon and made fun of her and Sophia gave her a dirty look and these girls are all bad people who don’t deserve anything and just clout chasers.
please watch the documentary and inform yourself. Sophia was amazing with the other girls in the documentary and Manon deserves worse than the girls disliking her. She's lucky those girls were professional and mature and decided to forgive her after the way she behaved. She never had to work hard for her spot. She got very very lucky
