Happy anniversary to both of you. If you don't mind can I ask you something about the medical insurance which you bought while travelling to Canada for the initial months
Hi Anand, Thank you so much. We did not purchase any medical insurance as we applied for the health card within the first two weeks after landing. Earlier there was some wait time before one can apply for the health card but now it’s not.
@@MicknChic thanks for your reply. The initial weeks you were without any medical insurance. I thought in Ontario you can apply only after 3 months for govt insurance. I am travelling with my kid so let me see what are the options available?
Hi, you can apply for it as soon as you get here. There is no waiting period only a address proof is required. The printed document with health card number is given the same day and the card arrives in a few weeks. Also, please carry kids cold/cough medicine with you.

@@MicknChic Hi guys, when you travelled from India to Canada, did you paste any address tag on the check-in luggages and what about locks - normal lock with key is fine or we need to have the numeric one. Thanks.
