2023 Highlights at the Almeida

2023 has been a great year for us: 6 Olivier Award wins, transfers to both the West End and New York, streaming into cinemas and onto the BBC, while reinvigorating work from the British canon, premiering two new musicals and giving a platform to new writing development.
We continued our commitment to the local Islington community, launching our three-year community project with 24 (Day): The Measure of My Dreams, which saw over 100 community performers and participants create an epic production for our stage. In addition, we offered experiences and opportunities to over 5,000 young people aged 25 and under through our work with schools, Young Artist programmes and our Almeida For Free festivals.
