Itoh is not pronounced eye-t- you. It is pronounced ee- toh. Nobody in the whole world understands what you're talking about.

Itoh is the Japanese Botanist’s last name pronounced EEEE-TOE - (Toichi Itoh) so, TIE-CHEEE), (EEEE-TOE) - just FYI
