My favorite fictional mentor of all time is still Uncle Remus from Song of the South. I know the film is controversial, but Uncle Remus (played by the great James Baskett - RIP) is the wisest fictional character I have encountered. Incidentally, he won an honorary academy award for that role. It was terrible that he wasn't allowed to attend so he could receive it in person. Walt Disney once said that James Baskett was the most talented actor he had ever met.
I'm really glad that he helped lovely Aoi from the lousy bully even he too was very dirty but after they became good friends was actually very pretty. They much deserved to be in love! I think love is great for them ❤👍🌺

Something similar to this actually happened in my high school, there was suddenly this transfer student who was alone most of the time and everyone tried making friends with her but she just pushed them away, then one time, I was going to the bathroom when I suddenly saw her being bullied by some guys and girls. I didn't want to be involved so I just walked past but then when we were in class, the teacher told us to behave because she had to get something then a guy got a banana peel from the rubbish and threw it to her, I was furious so I told him how could he do that, I then approached her and she was crying, I felt so fucking bad for her so I just told the guys to fuck off. Eventually, I was able to get them suspended and the girl was actually pretty. I was pretty much her only friend and then she showed me her insta and she has over 1k follows which is crazy. I think pretty much the main thing here is to not judge a book by its cover and being ugly is ok and not being ugly is ok but making fun or bullying others for their looks is not ok.
