I traveled in this train every summer vacation from 1988 to 2003 from Ernakulam to Jalandhar to meet my relatives in Punjab and after watching this video I got very emotional. It was wonderful watching all those halts that you showed in the journey. Great Memories. I moved to Canada in 2010 and miss all my train journeys in India. Hopefully we will meet sometime when I visit India 🙏😊

Hi, I used to travel fom Kanyakumari to Nagpur in this train from 1988 to 2003 during summer vacations after visiting my relatives. My onward journey from Nagpur to Kanyakumari used to be in Kerala express with halt and train change from tiruvananthapuram. Thanks to you for making me re live my memories.

Hi Satya, I reached your vlog accidently last night and watched all three episodes of this train and enjoyed it thoroughly. I am in USA and visit home in Bharat almost every year. Now that we are both retired and plan to travel within our country extensively and are interested to find some convenient and safe means of travel. I'm scared of travelling by road in India...so for me flying and train are the only options. Look forward to watching more of your videos in future and definitely before our next trip home in September-December 2023. Keep it up..

I have travelled in Ahmedabad - Nagercoil (Navajeevan Express) [ 3 days and 3 nights ]. I travelled in that train on every summer vacation for 6 years to go my grandma's home. This journey reminded me of that and me emotional. I loved the Video Shukriya Bhai Rombo Nandri
I got the chance to visit Tirupati in 2012....I was 12 yrs old then.....I can still feel the Taste of the laddoo of Tirupati Temple🙏🙏

I am very impressed the way you covered entire journey in the south and giving details of importance of each place and juction. My father was in railways i have grown up since childhood with rail.
From 1960 till today how much rail has changed. In those days it will take 24hrs to reach 450kms. 👍👍👍
Now there are many good trains but cleanliness remains a major issue. Travelled recently from NZM to Kanyakumari. The coach was filled with cockroaches. Desite long journey and some major stops in between, the toilets of the train were never cleaned and became unusable by end of the 1st day😣

This train has a unique route. It starts from Southern Tamil Nadu (Kanyakumari) and enters Kerala and again enters North Western Tamil Nadu (Coimbatore) and travels all the way till Katpadi before entering AP. Can you name any other trains which enter the same state again after travelling a distance ? Love and best wishes to Satya - from Sathya.

Hirakud express - starts at puri (odisa), travels through hijli (west bengal), goes to tatanagar(jharkhand), then comes to odisa again (jharsiguda , rourkela), then goes to chattisgarh

It is not India's longest Train. It's Southern Railway's longest Train. India's longest Train is Kanyakumari Dibrugarh Vivek Express which belongs to Northeast Frontier Railway. This is a magnificent train but i wonder why Indian Railways haven't provided Lhb coaches and Wap-7 engine for Himsagar Exp whereas trains covering 200-300km distances have been upgraded to Lhbs
