Thanks! I'm glad you mentioned Peter's point in your other reply. I was planning on heading out there soon, and was totally unaware they had closed it down to non-residents of Nassau County.
Thinking of taking this trip! Great footage! Can you camp on the beach out there? I'm sure you need some sort of beach driving permit as well, correct?
Thanks! There's a self-pay station before you drive out on the beach. I believe it's $5 to drive out there. You can't camp on the beach there. Florida doesn't have many spots where you can beach camp. Shired Island, over on the Gulf Coast is a popular spot to camp on the beach!
There are couple other beach access where you can park your Jeep on the beach if you live in Nassua County. Peters point and Lewis st.@@SwampFoxOverlandandOutdoor
I would think so. As soon as you go out on the beach the sand can get a bit soft, so you might want to air your tires down a little bit and maintain momentum. Once you are out on the beach the sand is usually pretty compact
It wasn't necessary, but depending on what you're driving and what tires you have, you might want to, as there are a few soft spots. All-in-all it's fairly basic though.
This is a great place to drive on the beach!
Nice video!

Cool beach, probably it's quiet and peaceful to ride on the sand?
It's definitely relaxing

@@DefiantOffroad thanks man! I heard about a place out there. I think it's called Peters Point. I've got to do some research. But great footage!

I'd assume my subaru wouldn't have any issues out there with some A/Ts 🤔
Should be just fine!
@DefiantOffroad Cool man, thanks I'll head down next weekend.
I have a AWD MAZDA CX-30 do you think i can bring it here?

@@DefiantOffroad oooh thank you, i should try and do that!
Did you have to air down your tires at all?
