- The Lord of the Rings - The Rings of Power episode 6. Galadriel and Halbrand share a moment in a romantic setting (the woods) with soft background music lol. Fan video editors, you know what you have to do!
But seriously they do have great chemistry. The only problem is for me is that if Halbrand IS Sauron then Galadriel should have sensed something right? Plus where is her husband?
Or maybe since this Amazon’s fanfiction she’ll meet her husband next season when Halbrand betrays her.

You know her husband is still alive right?
@@lucasbelmonte2832 I hope they divorce then (I'm jk), but we can't deny the clear tension between Sauron and Galadriel in many scenes. Their chemistry is insanely good.
@@KariWase The chemistry is good between the actors. But even if the showrunners wanted to divorce Galadriel and Celeborn it wouldn't be possible, they aren't legally allowed to change anything that effect's the third age and in lore Elves are married for life and because they reincarnate death doesn't separate them, they take no other partners, infidelity is also impossible for them, the only elf to ever remarry was Finwe, Celebrimbors great-grandfather, and even then all the Valar came together for a council to discuss whether he would be allowed to remarry because he wanted more children after Faenor but his first wife Miriel had chosen not to reincarnate. So if an elf wants to remarry they need the permission of the Valar and more specifically Menwe.
I really do believe that Sauron was being honest here. Galadriel love could have saved Sauron to be that bad. I think he really wanted redeem himself. She was the light he needed...damn it.
I understand that this is such a great premise but sadly, I just think Sauron is truly incapable of “love.” The only person he loves is himself. Now Maybe he will “love” her in his own twisted way but let us face it, she will only be his slave - a very beautiful, powerful, glorified elf slave. Hope Galadriel kicks his ass haha! But I definitely do see the appeal.
@@NinaC even the worst man wants the love from a women and women have the cappacity (not always) to turn a bad man in a good one. Sauron seemed pretty much controlled to me under Galadriel influency. He just going nuts when she rejected him. But yes whatever...its over at this point.
She is also the second most beautiful being in the history of this universe, so Sauron definitely wanted to smash.
@@jackshridan2309I think your partly and possibly correct as far as I do think he was falling inlove with Galadriel due to her similarities as far as her ruthless, her determination to complete what she sets out to do, but her ability to be a sheer force but a force of good, I think Sauron also needed her because she was giving him light, or I would say a sense of how he can be good and still rule to bring order and without her he would only know order and not love, in this scene when Galadriel said she felt it too, it gave Sauron even more hope that she would bind him to the light as he can now heal middle earth through order and be seen as a good and fair lord. So do I think he would of became good with Galadriel ? Not really, I think he would of loved her and I think he wouldn’t have been as murderous but I do believe he would of tried to use her for his influence with the elves in still trying to complete his ultimate goal in ruling over middle earth and bringing balance. Galadriel rejection only made him bitter, absent of light and love and left with the need to restore order in the way he sees fit without anyone to counsel him
nope, this doesnt make any sense in tolkien lore. pure GARBAGE
so I'm coming back to this scene again
I simply love how the tension is represented here by the actors, not only mutual feelings bordering on love, but bond, repentance, longing, loss and finding camaraderie in hardship
I think it's better than any "romantic" scenes in e. g. Game of Thrones
With this Galadriel, I proclaimed my allegiance to Lord Sauron.
their chemistry is so good…

@@NinaC or maybe SHE IS SAURON, Sauron is a shapeshifter , maybe the real Galadriel was captured by Sauron.
If he is Sauron, Galadriel is being played like a 🎻
I think he was being truthful here. I feel like to him she is this 'light' he once wanted but never reached, so he wants to 'possess' her. To own her, to have her with him in the darkness to have the light he could never have for himself through her.
Watching season 2 and how he acts as Annatar as very cold vs Halbrand as “warm” makes me think that there is some truth in this scene but he doesnt even know what he is feeling. As Annatar he is fully in control. As Halbrand he is probably still wavering.
@@NinaC also in season 2 when they showed us 'halbrand' as he got to Eregion and was being all persuasive towards Mirdania and then Celebrimbor we could clearly see through the act. It's not just a matter of us knowing the truth, Charlie is actually playing him different. I am pretty positive that during season 1 Sauron as Halbrand was somewhat sincere, and in this scene in particular he is speaking as Sauron, talking about that spark they clearly both felt. It's something he had never felt before, something warm and all encompassing that he wants to hold on to. Bind it to his being.
Never have I wanted two people to kiss more than these two for their show.
They have good chemistry if you don't see it you don't get it

On one side, Halbrand’s regret seems a bit too human and genuine to be mere playacting from an egomaniacal fallen angel who should be no longer capable of understanding anything tied to compassion and love.
…but on the other side, could it be that they are gonna explore Sauron’s last shreds of regret for what he became under Morgoth’s influence? That the regret we feel from him IS real, and he’s only lying on the surface level?
The dude is literally called the Great Deciever. At this point, people just don't want it to be him
Could be his Mairon side coming out a little. But he is long gone. Sauron is the biggest liar of all Middle Earth and if feigning love is what he needs to do, he would do it gladly and convincingly.
Spoiler Galadriel is Sauron, the real Galadriel was captured by Sauron.
This would actually make sense given the current rop story lol
Many of her actions in Nùmenor were way too dumb for her to be the Great Deceiver😂Put in her same position of helpless prisoner, as we’ll presumably see in future seasons, Sauron became the most trusted advisor to the King and literally sent the whole kingdom to war against the gods😅

My feelings for galadriel will help me finally create the one ring
I thought Sauron was scared of Galadriel because she could see through his disguises.
wrong Galadriel
Potentially the idea is that she was tricked once, badly. Then learned how he played the game so could see through all other disguises.
As a wise 900 year old green dwarf once said “The greatest teacher, failure is.”

0:45 Hallbrands mind: Maybe if I create some thing with my blacksmith skills that has the power to bind that feeling to my very being… a thing to rule them all, a thing to find them, a thing to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them…
don't think that's it. the lore mentions that Sauron was hesitating after Morgoth's defeat and thought to repent. I think this is him wavering. he was good initially, but then done a lot of bad. he doesn't know how to be good again. but Galadriel has a similar struggle with darkness inside her, and how she is able to overcome it inspires him - that's what he is talking about. ultmately, she is the ship and he is the stone from her brother's tale in the first episode.
*Nothing is evil in the beginning... Do you know why a Ship floats and a Stone cannot? Because the Stone sees only downward - the darkness of the water is vast and irresistable. The Ship feels the darkness as well, striving to master her and pull her under. But the Ship has a secret. For, unlike the Stone, her gase is not downward, but up. Fixed upon the light that guides her, whispering of grander things than darkness ever knew. - But sometimes lights shine just as brightly reflected in the water as they do in the sky - it's hard to say which way is up and which way is down. How am I to know which lights to follow? - Sometimes we cannot know, not until we have touched the darkness*

Okay like many has theorized Im 99% sure Halbrand is Sauron and maybe the 1% is him being the Witch King or some other character. Also, episode 6 of Rings of Power is making me want to root for the Orcs and Adar 😂 (yo but seriously Adar being Uncle Benjen Stark is one of the highlights of this show.)
Halbrand being Sauron is an absolut dogshit to be honest.
Sauron is an elf, not a human.
@@MrTheMortanius No. He is a Maia. But he's also a shapeshifter and can take any form he wishes. He once was a werewolf and a vampire, too.
My theory is the stranger is Sauron
The forging of the Rings of Power began some 1500 years into the Second Age. In SA 1600 Sauron created and first donned the One Ring, and in SA 1693 began the War of the Elves and Sauron during which the Dark Lord recovered the Nine Rings and gave them to mighty lords and rulers of Men. The mightiest of all of them was likely a king, possibly of Númenórean heritage, but little is known of his earthly life. He became the witch king.
I think Halbrand will be this man.
I think Halbrand is Sauron. Think about it. That back and forth between Halbrand and Adar makes a lot of sense. Adar wouldn't recognize Halbrand because this is Sauron in his weakened state. And as King of the Southlands, he is now King of Mordor. Adar didn't kill Sauron but he didn't weaken him, enough for Adar to assume he killed him. I think the stranger, is a Maia. People think he is Gandalf because of his relationship with the hobbits, but I don't think so. Also, remember, what Halbrand does as soon as he is freed from his cell. Becomes a blacksmith. Now regarding the relationship between Galadriel and Halbrand. Remember what Adar said, for that makes remember what her brother said. Sometimes to protect the light you must know the darkness, or something of that degree. Cut to Galadriel interrogating Adar, a corrupted now dark elf, who told her "Looks like you have some darkness in you as well" What she feels for Halbrand is that seduction and temptation of the dark.
I think they are going to have a love scene in one of the next episodes...
Sadly we are in Middle Earth and not Westeros 😢. So the only love scene we will be getting is probably long eye stares and awkward pauses.

He’ll forge the one ring soon enough
@@NinaC My theory is Halbrand's going to become the Witch King, maybe in a doomed / tragic attempt to be with the immortal Galadriel. But this comment was awfully Sauroney!
What a coincidence it would be if Halbrand is Sauron and this whole time he’s in the company of the inexperienced Islidor who would later become King of Arnor and Gondor and be the one to literally chop off Sauron’s hand and claim the one ring for himself.
My guess is that Galadriel will start a relation and she will become pregnant. Celebrian will be the biological daughter of Galadriel and Sauron. It is fine because Tolkien never specifically said that Celebrian was not Sauron’s biological daughter.
No! Bad lore breaking, bad! *thwaps on the nose with rolled up paper* lol.
Elves can't ever marry or be intimate with more than one other being, ever. They quite literally drop dead otherwise/if forced.
But yeah, if one considers the continuity of the show to be entirely separate from Tolkiens actual writing? Maybe...
@@mikalero mmm… yeah, right. Maybe Galadried got pregnant from Sauron, then she found out that Sauron was evil and used her super powers to create Celeborn, by taking all the good that was left in Sauron. In that case, she would technically be with only one male in her life.
I have just finished reading LoTR and Tolkien never mentioned specifically that what I proposed is wrong.
And Galadriel,Sauron, and Celebrian will be on Jerry Springer show. Who's the daddy.
@@agustinpo6436 - Yes he did. There are entire encyclopedias of lore he wrote outside of just the 3 LOTR books.
In speaking about the nature of elves, (in the "Morgoth's Ring" book, iirc.) he lays out very explicitly that for elves, monogamy was non negotiable, spiritually and physically. There has only been ONE exception in the entire history of the world. It required the consent of the dead spouse's soul to NEVER be reborn until the end of existence, and serious shit happened as a consequence. The spiritual bond is formed the moment a physical one is made. It means more to a marriage than the ceremony for them. One also couldnt lie about marital status.
"But among all these evils there is no record of any among the Elves that took another’s spouse by force; for this was wholly against their nature, and one so forced would have rejected bodily life and passed to Mandos. Guile or trickery in this matter was scarcely possible (even if it could be thought that any Elf would purpose to use it); for the Eldar can read at once in the eyes and voice of another whether they be wed or unwed."
He was also very clear that Celebrian was born to Galadriel and Celeborn in the 300th year of the Second Age. So she's (Celebrian) supposed to be at LEAST 2,000 years old herself by this point.
If you want to think your theory is possible, then do so. There are things in the ROP series that have already happened that contradict what Tolkien wrote. No reason to think the same couldn't happen in this.
Not trying to shit on anybody for theorizing or speculating about the show - there are parts I'm enjoying too.
But it is explicitly and fundamentally contradicted by the published lore.
I hope so. I want to see them go all in on the asinine, train wreck writing xD. Might as well at this point, it's just a 'fan' fiction. I want to see all the reactions to it.
The Sauron lives because of Galadriel.
its nearly impossible to kill sauron
why does this scene have such a "dystopian fantasy YA" feels to it
Who's here after the Reveal?
Hehehe
#Saurondriel
😂 The other commenter here said #Saladriel which I have to give a slow clap for that.
😂😂
Love is in the air between them. I think Halbrand in the future will be witch king. But he and Galadriel are about to be in love before that
The witch king was a powerful sorcerer who ruled Angmar in the North before he fell under Sauron's sway, though.
He says “bind it to my very being” as in “and in the darkness binds them”?
This is such a good catch. Maybe fighting alongside Galadriel (and vice versa) each of them sensed the other’s power or something. Halbrand (if he is Sauron) would want to cling to that. Dunno. My theories are super whacked 😂
There are enough leaks out where Halbrand/Sauron even asks Galadriel to join the dark side (episode 8).
So i believe it‘s Halbrand and Galadriel will find out
@@NinaC my personal theory is the shows def taking the star-crossed lovers' path. suppose the intense feeling (dare i say love) he feels for galadriel is something he wanted to “bind with his very being.” knowing it’ll be an ill-fated relationship, the ring could’ve been the very manifestation of the desire and pain, he had towards not just ruling middle earth, but also galadriel. which in the LOTR movies are definitely and literally bound to his very being. the angst and heart ache, if they do go this direction, will for sure change the way fans see the og films!
he was talking about two things: the one ring and his feelings for Galadriel.
if sauron show his true beatifull form if he show his deep down good self galadriel maybe he will understand him they both can learn very much from each other
its funny how those hating on the show are hate watching
Actually laugh watching😂😂😂 This stuff gives us some good belly laughs!
I love to revisit this now after season 2
The title is genius
sauron did what he did cause he was manipulated corrupted by morgoth deeo down he is in pain he regrets for what he did he want to be understand
this is so good
Just saw this scene. Someone please tell me that they were going to smash or am i hallucinating? Isn't Galadriel married at this point?
Yes with a daughter also
so ya to
and FYI Galadriel outright didn’t think Sauron could be beaten in a fight unless weak
In any point everyone feared him of coming back hence why they wanted to destroy the ring cause no one outside of the Highest maiar working together or the valar themselves could stop him at his most powerful
They only stand a chance against him if he is weak
Here he is just getting started
Galadriel here wants to find Sauron to do what, die cause that will happen when she does find him
And helbrand is Sauron so if he wanted everyone there would be dead lol
In fact around this time in the books she was taking her daughter away from the east as she feared if Sauron returned he will come form the east hence why she was taking her daughter west to her husband
he was in absolute fear of him and dared to not even try and see him face to face for a good damn reaosn given no one in their right mind would want to. Or even the high king or numinorins are stupid enough to think they can kill Sauron without the means and even if they did as long as he isn’t weak in his magical power he will be a threat to all in middle earth
As it’s said in the books he could have destroyed all
Middle earth if he wanted to even at his absolute weakest but his goal was to govern the land not destroy it and it was. Fail safe if the valar chose to come themselves so even if they took him he wouldn’t leave middle earth other than a lifeless waste land if they tired
So in context with the show
If she found him she will die cause literally there is nothing she can do he is older more skilled in magic and in a fight and is invincible to all but divine weapons or power
So ya not only is Galadriel an idiot in this show but a suicidal Karen who wants to be strong but comes off a child who hasn’t learned since she was little despite being 2000 years older then the race of men itself
Ya that makes as much sense as luke
Skywalker from the sequels

To be honest I dont know if this is truly the intention OR it is just the actors’ chemistry. That 5 second staring at each other before they got 🐔 blocked is kinda hmmmm 😆. But I guess they are forming a bond in terms of understanding each other and becoming friends. Which will make it quite the reveal if (when) Halbrand betrays her.
And yea, am also wondering where is her husband but since we are now in Amazon territory guess they just conveniently left that out to focus on her. Hope to see him soon though.
Elves have open relationships
@@pepe2493they don't lol. Tolkien was married for 55 years and only had one wife. She was the inspiration for the elves and she was not a hoe
I don’t think Sauron is just going to pop up out the blue it would be more interesting if Halbrand is him especially as Galadriel has bought him to middle earth
People say "there's no romance involvement here" or "its purely comraderie", bull shit brah, if Galadriel was a dude, this scene, and especially when he cups her face and proposes to her would look gay as hell...
I ship them! I try to remember and go back to all the movies of LOTR to try to remember if Galadriel ever had a husband.
She does. Celeborn. In the lore, they met and married during the First Age and had a daughter Celebrían in the Second Age who married Elrond in the Third Age. Small world. The show is probably going to have Galadriel and Celeborn meet in the show instead. Imo. Because it doesn’t seem like they have met yet.
Yup she is married. As Chase Creamer said married to Celeborn. Im not truly deep into the lore but he was in the Lord of the Rings films. As for “canon”, Galadriel at this time should have been married already but seems the creators went to the route of her being on her own - probably to signify her strong willed-ness. If Halbrand betrays her (and yeah be ready for the angst) then she can be more guarded and wise next season, also giving way to her possibly meeting her husband.
Strongly suspect we will meet him in season 2 (if there is a season 2).

It seems to me that Galadriel is starting to like her since that look doesn't seem like simple friendship, not to mention that she still has a husband.
She does seem to like him here and I think it is due to her isolation. But by the end of the season we all knew she has been played like a violin by the master deceiver 😢
This was a weird exchange - Galadriel is just portrayed so awfully in this show. Creepy psycho elf that acts like a teenager.
Despite my misgivings on the show I have truly accepted that this is more of an expensive fanfic. Amazon's/Jeff Bezos' approach to Tolkien's masterpiece of fantasy was to hire people who had no real love or knowledge of the Middle Earth lore or canon, glom together pieces of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and the Appendices ignoring timelines and storylines, add made up characters that have no place in the tale and throw a billion dollars worth of CGI at it hoping no one would notice. When everyone who knew anything about Middle Earth noticed, the untalented, PC and woke cast and crew went on the offensive deflecting the justified criticism by attacking the fan base as racist, sexist and bigoted. This was the second clear sign that this project was an abject failure by any standard applied, the first being their own admission that their aim was to "modernize" the tale to appeal to a new audience. In true Hollywood fashion the directors put all of their political baggage and wokeness into a tale about a fantasy pre-history of England that was created by a scholar who devoted a lifetime to develop it in detail greater than any other work of fiction that existed before and certainly since. It was a disastrous formula from the first day. Add to that the bad casting, high school drama club level writing and dialogue, horribly bad editing, confusing timeline compression, complete mish-mash of character development and utter disregard for the canon and lore and you end up with a show that has cutting edge CGI.......and nothing else worthy of mention. They would have been better off making this series 100% CGI and saving three quarters of a billion dollars. TROP is absolute garbage from the first episode. It is not a show that immerses you into the fantasy world of Middle Earth because the characters are so uninspiring and the pace of the story is boring to the point where you simply don't care what's happening you just want it to keep moving in the hope that something good might be coming. So far that has not been the case and we're almost to the end of the first season. This is a clear case of a rich guy thinking his money makes him as much of a literary genius as the true literary genius of Tolkien made Middle Earth. TROP is Bezos' ego on full display destroying the greatest fictional literary work of the 20th century through his complete lack of understanding and love for the tales. The "ner do wells" he hired to help him destroy this masterpiece are all too eager to take his money, stroke his ego and produce a show that has been universally panned by the diehard Tolkien fan base. The reviews have been edited by sites like Rotten Tomatoes to "adjust the numbers" in favor of the show but cannot explain the cavernous gap between their "Tomatometer" rating of 84% (383 critics) and the audience score of 38% (30,393 users). Rotten Tomatoes, and their critic ilk, have lost all credibility here. They have shown themselves to be little more than Amazon shills. In summation, Bezos and his bone-top production cast and crew are a fine example of how money ruins everything it touches. Having money does not make you smarter, more talented or right. It just makes you a more visible asshat. They need to cut their losses and do something far less challenging, more in line with their collective lack of talent like commercials for Wendy's hamburgers or something.
You good? Finished vomiting?
Do you use Amazon?
Hahah i laugh so hard, because to 100% halbrand is the king of oathbreakers
Sauron is behind the scenes 😘😏 and at most he influences half-edge and other characters 🤓
Two more episodes left though! So we shall see who will reign supreme!
Yeah nah
This would be really cheap by the writers to make Hallbrand Sauron.
I guess he should be the witch king. Still a bad guy but cmon. Not Sauron
I am hoping for a great reveal, at the end of season, Galadriel visits Celebrimbor who presents his new pretty friend called Annatar
Dammit Adar actor is already taken for that role..... i guess welcome back Lee Pace??? 😊😊😊
I don't want him to be Sauron.
Same! I’m pulling for a fallen man who is trying to change his ways, and Galadriel has offered a path to redemption. But the story has already been written by the show runners, and they don’t know (or care) what I want. 😉 Cannot wait to see what ultimately transpires! 🤞🏻
Need of the Rings talks about a Two Halbrand theory. Be interesting if true.
@@sashalynn6087 Hmmm … I cannot envision what that would look like. 🤔
Where is her husband Celeborn?
This scene is dumb and shows just how little the showrunners know about Tolkien and/or care about Tolkien. Galadriel has the Power to see into peoples minds and intentions, she is MARRIED to Celeborn and by this time would have had a daughter. A daughter that marries Elrond. Yet in this accursed mess of a show they have us first believe that Galadriel wants to get it on with Elrond her "friend", then they introduce a love triangle with "Not Sauron" who... feeeeeeeeels it too. Uhm.. the CW called and they want their show back. All hail Morgoth! At this point I'm rooting for the Dark Side. Who knows, maybe the showrunners will show the Death Star being built in Valinor.
Okay 😂😂
Okay
Oh wow you've seen a hundred youtubers saying this now you upload the same crap as if you found out something on your own
First of all, nopeeee, I didnt “upload the same crap like I found this on my own.” Like what you said it is already an inside joke to people who watch this show.
Second, why are you so hostile?? No hearts for you boo 😘
Umm everybody already knows though. It isnt like it is some grand secret. You sound like a typical unhinge nerd being mad about uploaded title videos.
@@NinaC He was friendzoned like Sauron😢
Cringe
Here is an award for your cringe comment 🏆
Ugh
This is awful. Where the hell is Celeborn? Is she like cheating or something???🤔😂
Truth is That even removing J. R. R. Tolkien from the conversation . Rings of power all tied up with this . Writers . Directors and show runners . Dont know how to Write a story , Dialog and dont know how to Direct at all . Rings of power is missing DEPTH and Structure Is none existent In Rings of power . It feels soulless , Lost and Broken This is not lord of the rings at all .. The Time skipping and rushing then slow then back to rushing the scenes is crazy . There is 0 Logic in this show . Its like the Writers and Directors and showrunners don't know how to develop characters and its so soulless , And my God with the pointless Woke agenda , is so bad what in the world is going on with amazon . How can they Hire such weak Writers and Directors . Miss handling The Franchise . Shame on them what is going on ? Howe can we ever trust them after this Garbage . The Fighting scenes are super weak where did all the money go ???? There is a Show called Merlin and that show has 1000000Trillon times better Story telling better writers and way better Directors and most likely paid far less for it and its better show then Child made Rings of power . Rings of power has NO Direction at all and 0 Logic , They dont even do research on how fight scenes work . and how people talk . its like 1 liners 0 depth and stupid choreography what Is going on with amazon . Erase Rings of power season 1 delete it all and Fire the Writers and Directors and show runners and Reboot RINGS OF POWER a HARD REBOOT ASAP
ok relax
@@zahramz5640 He really needs to relax. Don't know why everyone pissed about when movie is not perfect to the books as well.
She's not the galadriel in Tolkien books. She's the galadriel on woke writers imagination, so they can obviously vandalize her. Story went, halbrand betrayed her and put her in the streets for the orcs to play with.
