Just bought mine in June 2023. I'm really happy with the purchase. I can't believe the amount of quality for the price I paid. 300total,and this gun has some quality features only found in very expensive guns truth be told I am completely stoked
I have one of these and really like it. I found it stupid cheap at classic firearms. The only issue I had with the gun is that when installing the extra panels some of them made the mag stick and had do a little filing in the backstrap, side panels to get the mag to drop free.
I want a sub compact and micro compact version of the PX-9 gen 3. But I'll wait for those if Tisas Zigana would finally make a double stack 1911 because they are awesome at 1911s. Need an optic ready 1911/2011, ASAP.
The rails on the rear of the frame do appear to be made of polymer, however I believe they do contain metal. I tested them with a magnet and there is obviously metal in those rear rails. I'm really liking my 5.1" Tactical! 👍
I use the loaders because I am handicapped and I use one hand and arm. But I'm pretty strong well not young. My PPQ and my PX4 came with them and I bought a loader for my 92x.
Take Sig 226 Mags, Glock Sights, Fits XDm and P320 holsters.... I can see your point. Our main objective was to bring a pistol to market that used some common off the shelf accessories, thus removing the need for an overpriced proprietary magazine, using an off pattern sight with no aftermarket support and reducing the lead time for holster mfg to make a compatible rig..
Tisas factory uses cutting-edge modern technology, thus making outstanding quality handguns at fair reasonable price points. Unfortunately, prejudicial Americans reject Turkish manufactured handguns based on media talking heads political narratives. Hence, those people are missing out on some of the finest handguns made by Canik, Stoeger, Sarsilmaz SAR, BRG, Girsan, Tisas, just because they are from Turkey. That's so close-minded stupid! But, to each their own.
I own 2 Caniks (Elite SC with Shield SMS2 ($650) and TP9SFX with Vortex Viper $699). These pistols are phenomenal and the price is unreal for what you get and how good they are. The triggers are better than many aftermarket upgrades for Glocks/ M&P models, they come with match grade barrels and are super accurate, and they are 100% reliable as well. I’m a huge fan of Canik, but have no experience with the others you mentioned. I’m not opposed to potentially buying any of them provided they seem to be of good quality… Your comment is spot on, and many are too closed minded to even humor buying a Turkish made pistol. It’s a shame
I’ve had 1911s and the px9 night stalker from tisas and man for the money I’m very pleased with them you get a very good deal for the money which is hard to come by these days it seems . I know they are made in turkey but that doesn’t bother me they are very well made fire arms and I’m looking forward to see what all tisas brings to the table in the future .
I watch all your vids in full .. This one has some cookies not offered on many lower $ hand guns.. I would not mind holding one , very good review.. ENJOYED.. Stay warm my friend snow and ice here in Independence
Just got home from the ffl with a tisas px9 duty in fde. Actually also got the apx a1 compact tactical and the sar 9 socom fs. Wow the APX trigger is a workout! The px9 and the socom triggers pulling around 3-3.5 pounds the apx pulling a consistent 6# with my manual gauge my digital tends to read a little less. I have to say, man I'm impresses with that px9 trigger. Smooth as butter and absolutely no strikerfire twang! lol
If all I had seen of the video was of the interior of the gun, I would have said it was an XD. Internals are VERY similar. I wonder if any parts interchange?
I love the price point of this firearm, especially since it undercuts the Beretta APX A1 even with the current rebate. But it seems like it's fairly difficult to find a IWB holster for it.
Have 2 of these. Duty Guns . one in FDE.. STILL... cannot seem to find a good leather.(or Kydex) holster for these handguns.. OR the BRG either.. Any recommendations appreciated. Tried the XD and 320 holsters and the PX9 is bigger.
what trigger is compatible with the gen 3 . i read online most parts are glock parts but when it comes to the trigger i wanted a gflex or binary , wasnt sure if if would be the gen 2.3 or 4 glock trigger that the tisas uses. no one has a video/thread pm the topic. if you could do a full disassembly that would be dope
Great video as always. I do have a question as I am looking to purchase one of these and add RMR optics and a flashlight. If I did, would the gun still fit into the case modified that way? I did notice the foam padding in the case has visible lines on top as to the area where the optics would go making me think they designed the padding that way for that option. Please advise. Thanks.
I picked up the PX9 Duty yesterday I think I paid little to much, but after seeing your videos on this series of pistols I was set on buying one. To my surprise I walked into my local shop and they had them in stock so I bought the FDE version, now I will like to know if SDS import would sell the threaded barre only. Thanks for your great videos!
I just ordered a second one today. Didn't find the Duty with threaded barrel so I settled for a Duty in OD green. Now I hope that in the near future SDS offers the threaded barrels.
@@marquantamurray150I don't know of any site where you can get just the slide. If you truly want the tactical version badly. Trade in your duty model to get the tactical model for even cheaper. These guns are selling at a very good price to begin with.
He literally showed your version at the start of the video. There's 3 main versions of the Gen.3: the Duty, the Duty TH, and the Tactical TH. There's also some versions without the Optics cut. SDS Imports' marketing is horrible so there's a lot of confusion out there. Then there's the fact that they released the Gen.3 series less than 6-months after the Gen.2 did in the US. They didn't even wait a year, which likely pissed off people who bought the Gen.2 gun as well as making it harder to find for those who want to collect all.
I got the regular version gen 3 without the plate things on it and I baught some Glock sights cause their supposed to use Glock sites but I can't get the rear site off for the life of me and the front site that came with the sights has like a little thing under it that's to big to fit on the front side hole
Most P320 and Xdm holster will fit. We're working with a few mfg to streamline the fit as well into ones that are really close. Or, support your local Kydex Junkie...

Are the mags compatible with other pistols...Sig 226/229 ?

Excellent review. I have the non threaded barrel version and must say that I was really impressed with the included options.
Our "Duty" model has been excellent. I'm looking forward to getting this one to the range soon.
That OD green pistol looks pretty sveet! Thanks for the share!!

Now go buy one!
Get you some ! Great quality guns , I own 5 turks !
Just received mine today in the Night Stalker gray. Good shoot & changed my straps & sides to the small flats. Nice gun!
Ah I wish I knew they had a grey version!
Black is always sleek 😉
Glad you are liking your night stalker.
Another excellent presentation 👏 Thanks. 👍😎🙏
My order is in for it and it was under three eighty with other charges and anticipating same with all the videos I seen about the product.
These are a great gun at a great price, let us know what you think once you get yours in.
Got the PX 9 Duty threaded barrel Black Friday for $259! I really like this pistol! Got the Holosun 407 for it!
I run Aimpoint Acro P-2 on mine using the Primary Machine RMR to Acro adapter.

The gen 2 px9 looks like an FNS 9 and a xd 9 had a kid
And the gen 3 looks like after that this kid was married Sig Sauer P226 X-Five.

We reviewed the "Duty" model at the beginning of the year and were impressed.
