Mount the camera. To watch a video that is bouncy is extremely annoying, where is the viewer of your video supposed to look? Also, with a mounted camera you can use both hands.

Yes but I have to say its dangerous if your cooking with a lot of grease but I use the stove alot I like to deep fry on it.
