Since I started watching your channel I improved a lot, I went from being the 3rd point guard on my team to the starter! I'm from Spain tho and I would love to see Euroleague more often as I'm also getting into choaching next year (I'm 15 and here in Spain the required age is 16) and I use your videos as a sort of training. I also think that liga endesa and LEB Oro (Spanish division 1 and division 2) has a lot to offer for your channel since here in Spain we focus a lot on the tactical side of basketball. Keep it up mate and thanks for everything you've done so far for us to improve as players!
Man, it’s pretty awesome to hear you say that. I’m so glad my videos have impacted you so much. And I’m glad I’m doing Euroleague content now, so hopefully it will continue to help you grow. I’m unfamiliar with Liga Endesa & LEB Oro, so I need to learn more about that. Best of luck as you begin coaching. One piece of advice - make sure you prioritize the relationships with your players. Nobody cares how much you know, until they know you care. Blessings!
In Europe we still call it spain or Spanish pick and roll. I'm a bit confused that out of those two teams you've showed more Bayern clips, because Partizan is one of the best (if not the best) offensive teams in Euroleague. Other than that, love your channel, it is so hard to come across good basketball breakdown channels I am not aware of, so I am happy I found you channel a couple months ago. Great work
I appreciate the kind words! Glad to know the channel is benefiting you. I am new to the European game (especially the teams, systems, and coaches) but I keep hearing about the legendary Partizan coach, and planned on doing a full video on him. But when I watched this game (as you can see by the film) I thought Bayern ran some really good stuff that resulted in easy baskets, so I highlighted that. I wasn’t trying to favor one team or the other when I was selecting clips. Looking forward to hearing more of your feedback as I get more content out.
Follow a lot of basketball channels, and I sincerely believe you have the best. I workout D1 players for who English is not their primary language and the way you break things down into the simplest terms and illustrations is amazing and easy to understand. Been watching since the Gap Theory videos and knew you would take off.
Can’t thank you enough for you support of the channel, and taking the time to comment. Thank you! That’s cool that you’re training players - where are you located? Also, my next video in the pipeline is covering the Gap Theory in a way I haven’t done it yet. Hope you enjoy it!
I'm in the DMV area, and can't wait for the next video. I've watched so many basketball podcasts/clinics, got coaching from one of the best HS coaches in the country, and I really mean it when I say you are the best I've seen breaking things down. You make it so people easily understand how much decision making, spacing, and timing matter in basketball. @@TheFilmRoom1
I appreciate the feedback, suggestions, and the love! Euro basketball is awesome to breakdown. High level iq, great concepts, and what I would say is underrated talent.
We use the same terminology for Spain PnR as in the US. Chase DHO vs Drop Coverage is amazing counter. I haven't seen much of ''Gortat Screen'' in Europe and that's for me the best way to counter Drop Coverage. Amazing video and greetings from Europe :)
Really good to hear from you! I’ve heard about the Gortat screen, but I need to study up on it. I’m very new to the European game, but I’m looking forward to learning more & sharing it with you guys!
Watch Virtus Bologna play. Bryant Dunston and Ante Zizic are the bigs and they use the Gortat screen a lot. Also Mathias Lessort of Panathinaikos is one of the best doing it
You can breakdown next defense of European ballscreen coverage, not many guys familar it,can the defense be used NCAA Division I or other lever,I wonder know whether can be success?
Yes, Next PnR defense is quite interesting. It's based on proper closeouts and fast rotations. It can be hard to implement if you don't have quick and resilient defenders. On the other hand I am pretty sure that you would confuse 90% of coaches and if they fail to make adjustments, you can outplay them in pnr segment.
@@TheFilmRoom1 Former Serbia NT Coach Aleksandar Đorđević introuced and implement it into China NT ,we are not able master it too, next defense seem called yellow, yes,I Know in NCAA Ice called Blue ,Hedge called Red ,and in European next called yellow, its all know about it
I don’t watch enough NBA basketball to be able to answer that with any amount of certainty. I will say that last year in the playoffs, the Kings ran a lot of zoom action, which is very popular in Euroleague. And the Pacers run tons of ballscreens to get Halliburton in space where he can create for his teammates. Hope that’s somewhat helpful!
It's great to see people from the US appreciating the European game. It might not be on the same level talent-wise or as spectacular as the NBA, but there's lots to enjoy for lovers of the game - for me, one of the key aspects is the commitment and discipline of players to the coaching. There is a video of a last possession timeout by coach Obradovic a few years back, the Panathinaikos players execute that play like a dance routine, a joy to watch. (ruclips.net/video/5jKA0lgFhqY/видео.html) Keep up the good work man.
Really appreciate the kind words, and the support. I’ve really enjoyed learning more about Euroleague over the past few months. Thanks for sharing the video as well!
Best basketball channel on RUclips. I can’t wait for march madness breakdowns
Already got something planned for that 😁
This such an underrated channel
Weird question - but where are you from? We have the same last name haha

Preciate that! That’s the whole purpose of the channel, so it’s encouraging to know it’s working. There’s some unreal hoopers out your way.

Greetings from the US. I think the more I watch basketball, the more I realize how simple it really is. 😄

What are your thoughts on learning the game from the NBL. Obviously any basketball is good to watch
I don’t know much about the NBL. I’ll have to see some of it before I give you my opinion. Thanks for the question!
You should do a video on Providence College!
I’m not familiar with them. Are they in Euroleague or Euro Cup?
They are in the Big East. NCAAB
