I remember as a kid wen they were building I 280 the first time on it felt like we were all driving on a washboard before a year later it was fixed and my dad couldn't hardly Wait
thanks for this video ..i saw the video on my big screen ......i felt like i was in your car ...the scenery is gorgeous .... your driving skills are A++ ,,,,,, the video has great quality and it s a good decision from you for not choosing to use unnecessary music ....
I-280 in California may be an auxiliary route of I-80, but it can be a freeway bypass of US 101. It's a very scenic Interstate highway in California and it's best to use this when US 101 is decongested.
@@MachineBazi, it's all nature around the highway. As for US 101 between San Jose and San Francisco, there's sometimes man-made buildings (even the ports) around the highway in the San Francisco Bay area and the San Francisco Bay itself.
First observation . You were driving way too fast. There are at least 6 CHP "Kill Zones" between 85 and 380. And a bunch more between 17 and 880. With CHP somewhere around 92 almost guaranteed. Stay about average speed with current traffic, dont be the fastest car around, and the CHP will look for a better victim. Great video. Found myself bracing for the changes in road surfaces and the bumpier sections. And leaning into the curves. The hill grade before 92 has always been that bumpy. Driven 280 so many times over the decades. The second best commute in the Bay Area. The best is still over the GG Bridge and then up 101 in Marin. To San Rafael, Novato and beyond.
The camera is ok but too much of a wide angle imo . Ik what these roads look like and they look ok on ur camera not blurry just like distorted view from the fish eye lenses
Amazing view of the San Francisco skyline at 47:57
Best highway ever. I rarely take the 101 which is always traffic and accidents and ugly views. Edgewood Rd was my exit in to San Carlos.

15:07 WTF? Nice Video. 👍
From Sacramento to Truckee would also be a nice route.
Sorry for bad English.
Haha nice catch!
The I-80 route en route to North Lake Tahoe is indeed quite scenic. We hope to go there soon, stay tuned :)
@@MachineBazi Cool. I would definitely take a look at it. I hope in real time. 🚗
@@MachineBazi What? Is that a motorcycle on the left side of the road?
I miss living up in the San Francisco mouse area 😢
Hope you'll get to visit SF soon! Summer is the best time to be there in my opinion. Sunny + cool weather :)
@@MachineBazi yeah I used to live in San Jose and would go to the city and east bay alot for entertainment.
@@MachineBazi you drive an Elantra right?
What's the traffic like on weekends between SF and SH?
In our experience, there is typically a lot of traffic during late afternoon, but it's pretty free early in the morning or later in the evening!
