I made the banana bread mix today, but instead of the water, I added 3 small mashed bananas, (and a cup of walnuts) and so glad I did. It not only added the much needed banana flavor, but it made the bread super moist.
I want to try those apple cider donuts! Oh yeah! Yummy! 👍🏻👍🏻Sitting here watching you and praying hurricane Helena doesn’t cause too much damage. I’m in central Florida between Tampa and Orlando. A lot of wind. So far not too horrible. The rain I s here now with the wind. Blessings and prayers for everyone. Thanks Meghan 💗🦋🙏
The almond windmill cookies remind me of when I used to go and visit my grandmother. She always had almond windmill cookies and we had them with our tea. That was years before we even knew there was something called celiac disease. We just always thought food upset my stomach but looking at that package took me right back to grandma‘s kitchen. Thank you for that warm memory revived.
Easy Swedish Meatballs: while they’re baking in the oven or air fryer, in a saucepan: sauté a small onion, diced, and some sliced mushrooms, until cooked through. Mix in one can cream of mushroom soup, a small amount (~ 1/2 can) of milk… and heat through in saucepan. When they’re cooked, add meatballs. Keep warm in the oven until time to serve. Killer recipe… and great at work functions! Also, you can top with browned breadcrumbs, or fried onions, or Parmesan cheese! I have all the bread making things, but why do I want to run to Aldi to buy another?
Meghan, I knew I was going to see you today with the Aldi video and I was not disappointed. I think I’m gonna go in for those nightlight switch covers. Those are awesome, but there was a lot of things to see. Sending you blessings, prayers, much love, and a great big hug.stay safe and be blessed❤🙏
We use them in our bathrooms and our hallways. And of course, had one on the light that came on when we opened the front door never walked into a dark house. I don’t know why, but children are born with the inability to turn off lights. I believe they get that power when they get their first electric bill when they’re on their own. (no pun meant on the power).
Good Morning ☀️. Thank you for sharing what’s new at Aldi. I’m headed there today! We are in the path of the Hurricane for heavy rains tomorrow so every trip out of the house has to get done today.
Top o' the mornin to ya lassie.😊 18:45...those chopping blocks looked like there was an apple ( you picked up) & a pumpkin. Difference being in the stem. Yours was straight, pumpkin was curved. Or...maybe my glasses were crooked. Happy shopping. 🙏❤😊

Any kitchen that does not have a fire extinguisher in. It is not a safe kitchen you want one that is called an ABC that is a dry extinguisher. They can put out any fire and it will not spread it. Never under any circumstances use water to put out a fire on your stove if you cannot cover the pot or pan that is on fire, you need to have a fire extinguisher. I have one mounted in my kitchen. It’s the cheapest insurance policy you can buy.if you do not have a combination smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector in your home. You need that too especially as we come into the winter months. If you haven’t had your furnace service the first cool morning you kick it on turn it on you could be in for a big surprise. Carbon monoxide is known as the silent killer for a reason you can’t smell it. It’s like it’s not like where they put that sickening smell on it so you know right away I have had that privilege of growing up in a house with a fire chief, and I myself have worked in the fire service in the past, these are the two most important things that you can do to protect your family.October is fire protection. These are small steps that will keep your family safe one more thing when you turn the clocks change the batteries in your smoke detectors. If you got in the habit of doing it each time we change the clocks your batteries will always be fresh and your family will always be safe, there are smoke detectors on the market that are sealed and are good for 10 years. You don’t do anything except when the 10 years are up you throw it out and buy a new one. Please take a minute to take the steps as we used to tell our dad the firetruck doesn’t come any quicker to the Chiefs house. But we also didn’t have to worry about it because these lessons were pounded into our head from an early age..
I use Crisco for 1/2 of the butter that you put in chocolate chip cookies tollhouse cookies. The combination of the Crisco and the butter makes a cookie that has a little crunch on the outside and is tender on the inside. I prefer plain Crisco to butter flavored because I do not think that the butter flavored Crisco and taste the correct taste of butter, but that’s just my opinion.
Great Aldi Shopping video Meghan. Neat to see the Aldi finds when you film on that special aisle. Our California gets the finds merch about 2 weeks after you introduce. Its a cool heads up Thanks Meghan This Aldi video ROCKS!!🛒👍🏻😀
Funny story ~ beware of leggings with textured fabric! One night I went shopping at Target wearing a new pair of textured leggings. As I was walking, they were sliding down my legs! So thankful I was wearing a long coat! I ducked into an aisle to pull them back up, and OF COURSE some guy came walking by just then! 😆
Oh Happy Day 🎶...it's Meghan's video! I laugh, list and love your videos! Thank you! Oh please share any easy ways to make bread. Enjoy Fall and Family!
There she is looking lovely in a cozy fall top! 😊 I'm jelly, not even close to fall weather in desert SoCal. 😮💨 That is a nice artisan bread making kit! Yes on the breadmaking video. 😃 I appreciate you taking us along, wherever you go. 🥰
Heck yeah! I was awaiting your Aldi video this week with all the "Spooky, scary skeletons...🎵" and their other creepy ilk being released at Aldi! 💀👻🧛 Those apple/maple cookies are heavenly! Buy them if you can. They're perfectly flavored and moist without an artificial flavor or over-done sweetness. 🍏 For the banana bread, they'll often dehydrate and then crush the bananas into the bread mix. Which is how they manage to keep the mix fresh while also keeping actual bananas in the product. 🍌 And yes, I'd love to see your bread making tricks. Thanks as always for showing us around, Meghan! Your videos always brighten my day.
Love Angels in the outfield. I grew up in foster care. My main caregiver was a lot like the woman in the movie. Always doing extra things to make money.
You continue to make me laugh. Last evening I went to Aldi and I got the last storage bench! I’ve been out looking for one for weeks and I got lucky. Yay for Aldi.
Your story about having leather pants brought back an embarrassing, but kind of funny memory for me... I am guessing I am about 20 years older than you at least (61) and I had a pleather jumper dress kind of thing. The first time I wore it to school, I must have been running late and not had a minute to go to the bathroom. This was probably 2nd or 3rd grade. We had a very cranky woman as our bus driver and we must have been too rowdy or loud on the ride, so she decided we were all getting a spanking on the way out of the buss. What she did not know was I had wet my pants on the ride. I was one of the last ones off and the pleather made quite a splash for her when I got my spanking. Being at the end helped, as only she really knew what she had all over her. I am hoping it cured her of being so mean and spanking every rider on her bus for the actions of the few. I laugh whenever I think of what she must have thought at that moment! At least you know you were not alone with the occasional accident as a young kid too. I really loved that jumper, although it was prabably as nerdy as I was.
We need a video of Meghan making bread button➡️
Bless you Meghan you are the ONLY one that shows some things no one else shows on these Aldi videos 😍🥰🥰🥰💐🕊️👀😊

Love that you smell the products because the smell of products helps me decide whether I can handle the scent.

Better load up. Dock worker's are going on strike next week and I don't think anything in aldi is made in the US. I could use a new fire extinguisher.

I'm going to be doing different truffles with the vanilla melting chocolate 😊
Sounds great!

"Indian in the cupboard". We loved that movie as did our son. Read the book, too.❤❤❤

Hi Meghan, I use Crisco for my pie crusts and using the bricks is so easy. Delicious, flakey pie dough. :) Have a good day.
