I briefly worked at a Po Folks in Chattanooga, TN. I got promoted to kitchen manager but the morning I was to start in that position we arrived to find that a section of the kitchen had burned. The place closed down shortly afterward. Signs of things to come?
Po Folks was a chain restaurant throughout the Southern U.S that, like David said, used things like Mason jars for your glass and old cane bottom chairs to sit in. Ours closed here in Jackson, Tennessee around 25 years ago and I believe the entire chain is over. They were created by country crooner Whispering Bill Anderson. You’re welcome.
Pretty sure I saw DC walking down Lexington Ave/E. 123rd St with a crew the other morning, while walking my dog. Looking good dude ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ love the podcast
