      We don’t care! We are more than track and field. We have the fastest growing economy in the world and every year we kick ass in the CXC/CAPE exams. We’re not a boastful bunch but you come first us we are coming back at you.

      Yep - the guy who raised his hand in the set position should have been given the red card! Once in the set position there should be no hand raise. International standard should be applied full stop!! Or does the "NO LENIENCY" policy only applies when it is a Jamaican

      Leniency was shown in terms of the raising of the hand for all athletes throughout the games, the Jamaican never raised his hand he blatantly false started, we Jamaicans need to stop acting so spoilt and entitled.

    They need to do some training with these officials they are not professional at all they don’t even want to hear from the athletes if they are not from the same country the Jamaican officials need to start doing the Sam thing when they are in Jamaica or just stop training these kids in Jamaica personally I think these Jamaican coaches are training those kids to beat the Jamaican kids

    Poor commentary, the commentators supposed to relate to the athletes by their name firstly and not by country. He called the other athletes by their names but the eventual winner is termed " the Guyanese"

      It’s a typical in any international competition to hear athletes referred to by nationality and not by name. The commentators do a good job. It’s just that a lot of times, in track and field, some of us (not me) find some trivial stuff to complain about.
