i still can’t believe the first live was over five years ago, like they were still so „new“ to everyone, and now they’ve had several lives and are the oldest active love live group. being a fan in 2016-2019 was such a golden time and i’m so proud of all 9 of them
So many thoughts about this... I remember being really shocked Anchan and Shuka had to perform 8 songs in a row without a break (4 group songs, 2 year songs, and 2 subunit songs). That seemed like A LOT. And Rikyako... oh Rikyako. I think I'm always going to be mad at the insane expectations the staff had for these poor girls. Aqours has had the worst IMO, with Anchan (MIRACLE WAVE) and Rikyako (Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare) getting the brunt of it. I mean I LOVE 9-member Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare, but I hate that it exists at the cost of what Rikyako when through.... my poor precious babies.
True, I can't believe that they wanted it to be like LIKE the anime so much I mean they did it, but it cost anchan and rikyako some trauma of some sort I felt bad for them and happy at the same time cause I got to witness what's on the anime in irl performed by the seiyuus.
@@mikan_v2 Truee, I love seeing them perform it but please not on the same level as the anime cause they're obviously two different things and I hated that cause the staff really wanted to make it happen
@@ShinyMikan_658 Yeah, like it makes me sad we'll probably never see MIRACLE WAVE again - because I like the song and the costumes are super cool. But the toll it takes on Anchan also makes me NOT want to see it again because that's unfair to her, but also I wish we could just without that.
they had to go big or go home... literally the survival of the franchise resting on aqours's young shoulders because muse had stepped down and niji haven't started yet... they are also big fans of the franchise, so they also didn't want the franchise to die under their custody they survived under that and then further tempered by the awful circumstances during pandemic and now they are forged into this unbreakable ever-reliable big sister of the franchise also, don't forget that shuka would've had it as bad as anchan and rikyako with needing to do that leap-frog in kimikoko... literally right from the start... if not for her near superhuman physical stat... ainya and suwawa also struggled with their own leap-frogs while everyone especially aikyan and arisha worried over those 2 and would've gladly jumped in their places if they were allowed to
@@katgreer6113 Some fans can't accept that muse disbanded. And people keep comparing them to muse and saying they're just copying muse. I get the feeling but they don't deserve to be hated by just doing their jobs or doing what they love.
@@rein.9910 it was worse... they baselessly accused aqours for being the cause of muse disbanding (the muse seiyuu were only allowed to tell the truth that they were the ones that chose to disband much later) even worse was that all the aqours seiyuu are muse fans themselves... so they understood everything their fellow muse fans felt regarding muse going inactive, but they weren't allowed to say anything (there was that weird policy back then prohibiting the seiyuu of both groups from mentioning each other for some reason)... people that anchan know personally who are also muse fans even directly said to her that they wished Aqours was never created and Aqours don't deserve to call themselves a part of Love Live in her aqours magazine interview, anchan even talked about how one of aqours's goals from the start was to keep going no matter what until muse can do a comeback for the fans... they were trying to do that duty for the fans that while the same fans were cussing them out... all those years until the LL Fes in 2020, they were working for that goal... luckily pandemic only hit after that and at least let them fulfill that duty and be free to forge their own path from now on
if it is any comfort, rikyako seems to have gotten over the trauma already... and she actually hopes that she will be able to challenge the song on the piano again in the future (just aida-san being the daredevil aida-san) she hypothesised that she screwed up because she tried to play the piano with a calmer expression on her face after she saw how terrible she looked on day 1... that little bit of concentration she diverted elsewhere turned out to be too much... she also talked about how because she never failed until Day 2 (not even during rehearsals), there was no contingency or plan on what to do if she failed... everyone had full confidence in her nailing it (source: her Aqours magazine interview)
I remember the very first time I watched their 1st Live on video. I am very much not impressed on the Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare part where Rikyako was so emotional while playing the piano. I was like, "Man she's over acting more than usual. Why can't they just enjoy the show without acting so much?". That part became my least fave on the entire video. (My fave part is the infinite energy of Shuka and she was dubbed as "Genki-er than the Happy Party Train" at that time. That was so much fun btw.) And then a few months later, I saw this certain video on youtube about the incident on their 1st Live. Well..... long story short, she became my most fave Seiyuu in LLSS (together with Shuka & Anju). My respect to her skyrocketed so fast. I can't imagine all the hardships (and traumas) they need to overcame before they reach where they are now. They deserve all the respect in the world. PS: I haven't had a chance to say this before, and even if this won't reach you Rikyako, but I still want to say "I'M VERY SORRY" for judging you at that time. I sincerely apologize for being a detestable fan of this franchise. Hoping for more blessings and good health to all the performers in the world. God bless us all.
Everybody is like that at first because I was like that also but with shuka and kinchan. With shuka at first I didn't like her genkinest and it started to annoy me for kinchan I actually don't know why but I didn't like her for some reason. But years past as I get to know them more and more I started to like them to the point of cheering them, crying with them, laughing with them and loving them. I don't have a favorite seiyuu in LLSS because each one of the has their own charisma. You're not the only one that disliked a seiyuu in Aqours. This is the real definition of don't judge a book by its cover.
She fumbled during the performance on Day 2 and the staff had to cut the music to tend to Rikako's sudden panic attack. Anchan, Suwawa and Ainyan had to resolve the situation before restarting the performance. It's something some of the fans do not want to recall...
