Can't wait to see full reviews. Here's hoping a Dark Rock 5 is coming with a Silent Wings 4/Pro 4 fan. The weirdly proprietary 135mm fan on the Dark Rock 4 is just not good enough for the cooler.
The Dark Rock Pro 5 features 2 virtually inaudible Silent Wings PWM fans for perfect airflow.

I have a Dark Rock Pro 4 I bought with my 7800X3D in December 2023. Haven't had a single problem with it. No throttling or reliability issues. Whenever I run a CPU burn in tool like the one built into MSI Kombustor or AIDIA64 the clock speed stays pegged at 4.8 Ghz. That's with all cores maxed out. On "normal" tasks like games etc that don't max every core it will burst higher at times as well. HWInfo64 reports no throttling of any kind after letting a burn in run for ~12 hours overnight. And after spending a few mins to create a fan curve in BIOS it's silent as well. So yeah the Dark Rock Pro 5 I'm sure would have no issues.

@@bequietofficial I did use your cpu cooler check but it doesn't let me choose processor for am4, it only lets you choose am5 processors. However, the motherboard I choose which is asus rog crosshair VIII dark hero, the dark rock pro 5 fits on that it seems. But my question here is that will this cooler be perfect for cooling ryzen 9 5950x? And no I m not doing any overclocking nor interested in that.

Yeah, it's such a pain getting the middle fan on a cooler like this when it uses wire clips. The front fan I'm fine with.

This new be quiet cooler does not design for normal users to use. The front fan must set to high position that make the actual cooler height to 17Xmm or above (depend on the ram height).
Unless you don't install the case's side panel.
how many users uses the be quiet's case or other brand 175mm CPU cooler height case?
If low RAM is installed or slots aren't covered, the fan's height doesn't have to be adjusted. This is just an additional feature that we offer.
I have a bequiet pure base 500DX case and this cooler would def fit. The pure base 500DX has a max CPU cooler height listing of 190mm, and newegg shows this CPU cooler as needing 168mm. Even with my G.Skill RGB memory I'm pretty sure this would fit no problem in my case. I would probably have to use the optional feature that lets you slid the front fan up a bit, but the side panel would still fit. Actually I know it would, I have a Dark Rock Pro 4 right now and it fits just fine in my Pure Base 500DX case with the front fan slid up slightly to clear the RAM.
