Ive worked on custom/ show cars professionally since 1997. This car was my first inspiration in the 70’s. Also the Mach 5 and the coyote x. The bat mobile and the a team van and starsky and hutch grand Torino 🇺🇸🙂
I first saw the movie when I was 11, I am 52 now and still obsessed with someday owning this car (a guy can dream, right?) and I would love to know what happened to Annie's van.
as a kid seeing this for the first time it blew my mind, thought it was the coolest thing ever
Tlue wolds! It IS the coolest thing evel.

This movie inspired me to buy my first Corvette… A 1964 Coupe, all original.
That car is primo. Was a great movie in the day.
The high school s h o p garage where they roll out the Corvette same shop garages that rolled out greased lightning in Grease
Why don't anyone make a movie about electric cars😂😂😂q
Without naming any names, someone on here, although adept at asinine alliteration, doesn't seem to know how to let go and simply have fun! ;-)

I remember going to this movie. It was and ok movie, the main draw where Mark Hamill & the Corvette.
The best car movie ever. It got me hooked on cars. I never looked back.
That car screams 1978! The fender flairs alone.
It was so nice👍 to see Mark Hamel being in a movie in between Star Wars & The Empire Strikes Back
it probably was the last time he played a teenager too i think.
Left out the scene where Kenny and Wayne play chicken on the freeway. . . Should have included that important scene 😮
I’m a little rusty. However, it’s like riding a bike . You never forget.
callsign "Husker"
Why is it Right Hand Drive?
Creative choice
So he would be closer to the curb to talk to the girls
It's because I'm dyslexic Hollywood did this for me when they made the movie 🎥🎞️🎞️📺 Corvette Summer is my creation ♦️♦️♦️🦅🇺🇸🦅‼️
I enjoyed the movie when it came out, but the dialogue doesn't hold up today
This movie and that corvette inspired me to become a Autobody Car customizer. 40 years before i had to retire.
But can he bullseye womprats in it?
Saw this as a kid, at the Blue Fox Drive-in...
have you ever read border music
Baddest Car Ever !
If we were all living in the correct timeline, Star Wars would be Mark Hamill's follow-up movie to Corvette Summer.
I believe Star Wars was first, Corvette Summer after.
Real life hot wheels
Saw this movie as a kid growing up........this is a classis
I paid tribute on my channel to this Corvette, check it out and let me know what you think!
They just cant belive the Right hand Drive Thanks Danny I dont want Sodas I want my Car !! Can you imagain Christian as a Corvett come back OMG
Im guessing they painted it that gold, and shot the scene, then put the Candy apple on. Both cars were Red at the end of filming.
this corvette from the movie was sweet looking in it red with flames but even in gold color is was just as sweet
The high school seen at 1:04 is Burbank High School, Burbank, California...

I am Kenny Dantley.....
Why is the steering wheel on the right side ? 🤔
Just because... I guess it was supposed to be a testament to the character's car designing abilities... But what a pain going thru a drive-thru! 😉
OUTSTANDING! Saw this film on this exact date in 1978. Not exactly what I expected, but a pretty good, fun film overall.
It looked better in the scrap yard
