Exactly. It is what it is. The umpires made the decision and they just have to accept it instead of crying about it. In the 2018 grand final it was a clear free kick to Maynard but the umpires didn't give it. So I see the advantage decision as the footy gods giving us 1 back 😉

Hodgey and Richo need to learn the advantage rule as its not the umpires decision to tell if its an advantage or not. If the player takes the advantage by playing on then the umpire calls it. If it ends up not being an advantage, thats the players fault for playing on.

Not at all. If a free kick isn’t awarded, such has been the case a couple times for Collingwood in GF, then it’s unfair, but it was. The whistle was blown they’re just mad they didn’t use it, even if they did it was a soft free kick, only a leg, highly unlikely they would’ve won with it, I don’t get people saying “Lions deserved to win” when Pies were in front. Umpiring in AFL is shit half the time, don’t think your teams special.
