2:16 I started playing Elsword last October 2019 when I bought my first laptop. I knew the game way back 2015 bc of some ads. Eve was really my first favorite, especially Code:Empress path. I like her design and lore A LOT.
A thing to note: Elsword's numbers weren't doing too hot or as expected on kr. Eve's popularity during release managed to quite revitalize the player base. So make sure to celebrate her birthday on December 18th! That being said, I feel like there could have been more information presented in terms of mechanics, playstyle and things to look out for beyond what is written in your skills or what you can find on elwiki. The rating system could use an overhaul too. (it's a bit too generic, I'd add a mobbing category, and or a pros/cons at the end instead) Sariel is a beast when it comes to clearing, but only when your skills are strong enough to kill mobs in fusion mode. Try running 11-3/13-4/15-4 instead of a regular dungeon and you will see that you have to rely on DLG/Photon Tracker more than on your main skills. To make use of amp mode you need to consistently hit at least 3 mobs at once. Hitboxes for most skills are clunky with the exception of GS/FS. Furthermore, EH brings a stronger attackpower boost since you have 3 force fields active instead of just 1. The range of her skills is roughly the size of your screen, however, the dmg falloff you perceive with distance is only noticeable if the particles are allowed to spread out (LD/Final Strike/Particle Ray). Here are my pros and cons for CS: pros: by far the easiest fast movement that you can achieve (double tap for midair dash with ventus' wing + GoD buff is super fast) The easiest class to grind dungeons with provided you have the gear, if you lack gear you need to rely on the queue buff, so bring your friend. Fairly easy to pilot, her mechanics are not too complicated and playing her is mostly figuring out what position makes your homing skills travel the best. cons: Can feel very mana hungry for newcomers, can be overcome with practice and eroding energy force skill (more max mana = more efficient potion usage) Huge Cooldown issues, making her ERP requirement shoot up by +100 if you want to compete with other classes + you almost require a support class in raid that has cooldown acceleration. Very long animations and takes time to get going. Edit: Maybe you could ask some endgame players for their opinions on their class and give some tips/tricks in the future?

The idea behind her path is amazing, a code that draws on ancient nasod weaponry to make Eve the final version of what Code:Q_Proto should have been. Unfortunately I feel like the Elsword team screwed up with this one. I won't complain about the focus on spears, since that's really my thing, but I feel like it butchered the Nemesis path's potential. She could have become what Rose got in her paths, with both spears and guns the nemesis path would have been such a great path it wouldn't have suffered so much from underusage when newer and better characters came along. I will always mourn what could have been with Code: Nemesis and Ultimate, since the other two paths were polished so well in comparison.
Since the time when Grand Chase still a thing (Here in brazil grand chase was really popular for a longer time, the publisher even clamed have tried to mantain the game on when KOG killed its development), there was two classes that always got my eyes, Eve Nemesis and Raven Sword Master. The idea behind them, their design as well, all of it was extreme exciting to me. However, those exact two classes when I got to try them years later were the ones that most let me down, mostly Nemesis. She was so mana hungry with skills, kinda slowish and boring to use and with short range. Although I think it gets better further, I have never managed to level up a nemesis further bc using her makes me fell sad. It was a poor 14 years old boy dreams crushed that I never could fix.

As a Sariel main, I agree that Sariel has been disheartening to play and would love to see her get stronger again, but for now, I'm investing on her gear so that she can do a bit better damage.
@@VaHJW Yea it will increase her dmg potential by a lot on berthe raid. Right now she is still strong enough to dps on 15-5 with CC and CL decreasing her skills like crazy :D
I've been maining the Sariel since release on EU which is a long, long time. But I switched to NA after an excessively long break on EU and because EU has that huge content delay 2 years ago. I love CS and I agree with you in every especially bossing which seriously needs a fix. I mean. All 3 Eves are lagging behind in damage output compared to other classes. That thing was honestly making me worry if I was ever able to turn CS into a raid DPS because all my friends on a similar level in terms of ERP and gear (2.7 Mil CP, 180 ERP (not much but I'm trying my best)) do a lot more damage. She needs a fix asap and I don't think CS' upcoming buff with Code Recovery and her passive will be enough because like you said. It's been a long while any Eve has been in any recent weekly leaderboard.
Kog has weird direction of nerfing classes lul . i really hope CS can at least reach T2 for DPS Aes was so popluar , then they nerfed , same as CS , and now Cet is getting nerf soon ~ smh

Not the number 1 because when she was released CBS really was OP and that'd be boring, too. But seriously. Last year that rework of all characters was incredibly lackluster. Those who needed the big buffs didn't get them and all they did was nerfing a tiny bit.

9:45 I think that's the reason why some people think she's a mana hunger, you need to cycle the mana convert, el crystal spectrum to utilize well the mp cost + cd reduce that you mention in the vid
Well yes, her mana usage is too high, like most of other char. But blindly spamming skills isn't good, it's just that she need some setup for some of her passives which most new CS tend to ignore from my perspective.

Bruh, i used to main Eve Code: Nemesis, had the BEST time of my life when she evolved. Lunatic Skud was so satisfying to use and so funny. Killing bosses with it was so satisfying with a group lol! F2P too
I start Elsword with nemesis and do all the way to CU Main... and when I use other Eve.... I realize how Fun CU playstyle is,since CE is style is kinda slow and CS skill animation sometime hurt my eyes 😂...,and yes CU fast casting is Candy on my eyes. its worth mastery!

yea i join this game less than a year as well, early game (before 1-98) is kinda dead tbh, but soloing shouldnt be a big problem since early game is easy , player in mid game still pretty active just pick any class to explore the game, dun have to choose you main so soon
Depends on ur gear , CS doesn’t do much of dmg if ur cp is not 1.5 times + more then the cp requirements of the dungeons(from 12-1 on) , while ce is slower on clearing , but u can still kill mobs even ur gear just hit the requirement
Ah is actually about there is no best class , since the game not is not just about how fast u can clear the room now , CBS is now CS after 3rd job , she is best on clearing but not for support and mana resources ~ but she was a beast back then when she was released 😂

I've been an Eve main player since I started playing Elsword, in 2010, and since then I main CE. And I can say: this was very accurate for CE.

yes she has some mana resources, just her mana usage is too high(since she need to keep spamming skill)

Tbh I just use Sariel to grind SDs(Ed build gives 1-1.3mil a run plus barrier fragments) :) easy runs and easy ED!
