I think you have a good philosophy of life and also you are a good examples that one can take care of their appearance and not necessarily mean one is vain or superficial.

Do you mean the part in the sides right before the long hair on top of your head, does it poof out? I get mine high skin tapered but to a #1 instead of a #2. You have to get it cut every 2-3 weeks if you want it to look super clean all the time. It's Just the way this haircut is my friend.
