- This is the moment Neil foiled sex offender and conman Sean Johnson in a pre-recorded phone call on Cork’s RedFM. Gardai were later notified and Johnson was arrested. Yesterday he was sentenced to ten months in prison. He had been holding talent auditions with children around Ireland before he came to our attention. The power of local radio!

I knew him. I first met him as "Xanda Reid" in July 2011 when we both did media internships in Florence, Italy (how he got out the country after being imprisoned, I have no idea!). He was quite quirky with me and other students who were in the group, and afterwards we stayed friends and kept in contact. He attended my 21st birthday party in 2012 but couldn't get into nightclubs because of no ID or passport (now I know why) and had absolutely no idea of his true identity or his past at this point. He would do some video work within Wolverhampton (scripts all featuring teenage boys and ones that weren't even completed or edited). As a media student myself at the time (specifically in 2013), I was looking for work experience and I thought he was giving it to me through these videos but didn't know of his true intentions. I found out everything about his past in November 2013 and me and fellow Italy group were all totally shocked by what he'd done, and were even more upon hearing what he's been doing in Ireland. This whole case just goes to show that you really don't know anybody and that all people should take care of their children properly without any harm (none were harmed to my knowledge, thank God!). So glad that he's now in prison but should have longer than 10 months, especially when it's his second imprisonment.
He also lied to me about his country of origin (he said he was Irish), his age (he turned 30 in 2012) and his general name (knew him as Xanda Reid).

To be fair, this is not down to Corks RedFM at all... It is down to the man "John" who worked his ass off to find out everything about him and catch him out, he then rang RedFM to help with the procedure.
His name is mud.
