- Season 04, Episode 94 (day six): sup squad from eldora mountain resort! drove about 1.5 hours this morning from winter park to check out opening weekend at eldora! they had 2 trails open and a mini terrain park! stoke was super high as it was the first weekend of opening day for a resort super close to a big city like denver. super rad to check out this place again after many, many years!

I was at Eldora yesterday (Monday) less of a crowd but probably a little more sticky snow. It was WARM! As you said, it's early season. The good stuff is yet to come.

I am really impressed at the amount of people who recognize you and watch your videos. Maybe it’s the stoke squad sticker lol. Also, I’m not a park rat myself, but I really liked the music choice with the shots of the guys sliding the rails. I always feel like some chill hip hop goes well with some steezy park footage
Yeah it’s pretty wild man! And I hear ya on that. I’m not really a park guy. And the music is such a hard thing to choose, especially doing videos a lot. Not everyone is gonna like it but that’s what makes it mine.

Hit Eldora on Saturday as well- Had more runs and elevation open than winter park or Abasin. It was crowded but the 6pack lift was making the line go super quick. Snow was alright in the morning but did melt a little as the day went on.

Love all your videos!! Just recently found your channel, and was wondering what your procedure for drying out your outerwear, I know you have multiple, but was wondering if you hang it all up within the van or elsewhere?
Glad you like them! I just hang up my gloves and ski socks over night. It gets really dry in the van that stuff dries out overnight no problem

Hi Lucas, long time supporter of the channel and loving your content so far this season! Just wondering did you have any DIY/woodworking experience before building your van? Would you recommend someone building their own van with little/no experience with that kinda stuff?
Thanks David! I had quite literally 0 experience with any of it. My dad helped me a lot who had some carpentry experience in his younger life but for the most part, we had no experience with a lot of the stuff!

I just bought the arv 106s from the same season as you, what are your opinions on them with bigger spins and tricks
i think for park skiing, you could do better with a smaller underfoot to help with spinning and whatnot, but as an allmountain/natural terrain trick ski - they are one of the best imo
I love the trail names in the top corner, but I wonder do you ever forget what trail it is that youre on when you go back to edit? How do you remember.

I have been told to go to Eldora and the reason that I love BRECK is to get away from Denver.. Eldora seams like it is still Denver.. I meant to ask you this the other day.. Now that you have a guest with you would you say that you have a film crew;) Even though you skied solo today..
Haha!! Wouldn’t say that I have a film crew but it is nice being able to have someone hold the camera sometimes!

going from 3 piece boots to 4 buckles sounds like unnecessary pain and aggravation. You were skiing great in the Dalbello's why change?
Just felt that the dalbellos were too soft! And leaving a lot of performance on the table.
they make 130 flex tongues. when you flex out those Salomon and the 2 and 3 buckles hit and the flex bottoms out, you'll be wishing for those 3 piece boots again.!!@@LucasCatania17
