Utilizing the sheath in training helps a lot. It's true what Tuhon Ray said that most systems within FMA usually start with the blade already drawn, but another part of that is accessing your blade without hesitation or accidentally dropping or hurting yourself.
Thanks. Tuhon Ray makes them by hand, both the knife (metal or polymer) and holster. You can go to the FCS website to order it, or contact them to see if you can get yours custom made. Contact info is located in the description box.
I wish I could learn this also as filipino from Bicol I am sad I did not know about this left philippines at age of 14 I just came across of this now at age 35 🤔 pwede paba ako matutu nito.
great stuff ! Tuhon Ray is still like lighting as he was years ago ....he's on auto pilot with the blade without effort or thought ! pugay ! salamat !
He is exellent. A true day modern day Master
Hard to believe that he started growing and developing FCS in his 30's.
I like the transition from empty hand to knife. Very nice 👍🏽

loving the limb and joint destructions as you enter
We'll be doing this until we die. Mabuhay.
That's the truth. 👍
Excellent instruction on an important topic. Smooth surreptitious blade draw can make ALL the difference
Agreed, one of the great things about FCS is teaching how to deploy the blade while in movement.
I like it 😎. Something new to train in. Awesome 👍🏽
Always be an open book, or what Bruce Lee said, empty your cup. Always be open to learning.
My great teacher 🙏 thanks
just..........GOLD
Indeed. That's why I'm cross training in FCS to get a deeper understanding.
Awesome!
We definitely want to learn and train more about knife deployment during training. Hopefully we can train more with FCS in the future.
@@FMAPulse yeah I agree...need to train it
Smooth and fast. 👍
As the saying goes, "smooth is fast, and fast is smooth."
Damn smooth.
Does he have teachers here in Metro Manila?
This is amazing. I also carry a fire arm but, I have a fixed blade in case of malfunctions or if my dominant hand is grabbed or trapped.
Same here. Always have all of your weapons at the ready. Plan B all the way up to Z.
Nice video ! I was wondering where i can buy that training knife you have with holster ?

It's never too late to start. Where did you move to? Maybe when can help find you a school or group.
👍👍👍👍👍
Maraming Salamat.
Is there a reason why hit #6 repeats with right hand again instead of alternating hand strikes? Shouldn't this result in a "1 & 2 & 3...4...5"?
That's a good question. That would have to be answered by Tuhon Ray himself or the higher level FCS practitioners.
@@FMAPulse look forward to Tuhon Ray's clarification.

I want to see a McDojo on this guy.
