Not sure if it was already mentioned in the video but another good reason to save seeds is because every generation the plants will get more adapted to your soil and climate.
Very cool!! I had some GREAT flowers this year....calendula was one of them and I got GREAT seeds from them. I'm excited about sewing them in a larger area and seeing them blossom!!
THIS is my question. If it works, I prefer to do this because I want to free up the plant to bloom more. I picked a few today where the petals had fallen off but it was all still green. I think I'll have to dry them indoors and then try to plant some (indoors under grow lights etc.) to test how viable they are.
Hi thanks for the info very much appreciated... I have various calendula flowers... Can I still harvest the seeds of they are a little green and have been blown out by the wind? Thank you so much for your help very much appreciated

Thank you!!! I've been spending way too much on seeds.
Thanks for the video! I only planted a few calendula this year so I wanted to save seeds and replant more next year.
Can you pick them while they’re still green and let them dry out?
