munawar is the worst comedian by far in india
It could be since Munnawar mostly does storytelling styles like Zakir, where u need to listen to the whole set-up while in Ashish case he do bits and not storytelling. But I haven't seen Ashish doing any Hard or , social, political type joke yet, any comedian is a true comedian if he can deliver some sort of such comedy. I'm sure Ashish can do but he has not yet so he is way below than any of the comedians who are or have done it.. Why bcoz controversial comedy tell how good you are in your comedy. It has risk but it also polish your skills..
Munavar was not able to carry the hosting like Ashish does 💯

Munawar is not a very talented comedian. He has normie humour and thats it. Most of his audience watches him for sympathy and religious association (I am a muslim too but what's true is true)

I think it is because he is jack of all trades. He doesn't put all his thoughts and hard work into comedy. He wants to always do different things. Also, haven't really attended any of his shows so can't judge his content as whole. But I feel, overall, his personality is very likable, and he took a risk by exposing himself completely because now people will judge him very differently. All his jokes, content, any form of art he tries won't be consumed as art but will always be connected with his personality and that is why there is mixed opinions on him. There are fans who wanted to see that personality and will love him for that no matter what because he gave them what they wanted and there are people who won't like him especially the ones that are general art consumers
