I use fenugreek seeds, rosemary leaves, aloe vera to help feed my hair. Sometimes I may add a banana or avocado with honey . It depends on what treatment I may need. Henna, honey, coffee, saw palmetto, moringa, green tea, horse tail, hibiscus, slippery elm, oatmeal or rice .. the list is endless. I either add to an existing conditioner or create one, strain through muslin to avoid small particles in my hair. Apply with gloves then use a steam cap for 40 minutes, rinse then dry & style as usual.

TY for sharing and for the inquiry. My favorite balanced conditioner is Camille Rose Algae Renew. I'll often apply it to my ends when I opt for a strictly moisturizing conditioner for the shaft of my hair (based on the status of my hair strands). My go-to proftein free conditioner is Mielle mongongo oil protein-free hydrating conditioner. Hi CC, thank you for this video. Honestly I haven't yet found a conditioner I'm absolutely in love with. I'm still working on that. Lol I have three questions - can you use an ACV rinse as a prepoo OR should you do an ACV rinse before or after you condition your hair as the last step? When is it best to do hot oil treatment before or after wash/condition? I keep my HP hair in protective style 4-6wks, allow it to rest and treat for 1/2wks before doing protective style again. Thanks! PS - If you consider these consultation questions please let me. Thanks so much. ❤

I have tried everything and spent a lot of money on different hair products. I even went to a dermatologist. It's hard to find products that will keep my hair moist. I definitely need a daily moisturizer that will prevent my hair from drying. I have tried a few and they don't seem to work. My hair is not fully gray, however the gray hair seems to dominate all of my hair. I don't wear my hair out, because hair Gels seem to dry my hair more no matter how many different ones I've tried. 1. I don't detangle in the shower. 😅
    2. My scalp hates conditioner...I only put shampoo and trichology products on my scalp.
    3. I plastic cap goes on outside of the shower with my electric conditioning cap. Lol!
    4. Yeah my ends are always covered in conditioner
    5. I do 20 sections with leave-in detangler and leave-in conditioner to detangle outside of the shower. I apply more deep conditioner than I think I need. Lol!
    6. I have a protein deep conditioner, a moisture deep conditioner and a bond builder conditioner. I have a rinse-out conditioner for swimming. I alternate between the protein and the moisture and the bond builder on a weekly basis.
    7. I do not know who these people are who do not want to use conditioner after shampoo....it's literally something my mother has been doing since the 80s....and all ethnicities use conditioner....Maybe it's a TikTok trend I'm getting too old. Lol!
Favourite conditioner at the Moment: Protein-free Camille RoseAlgae Renew Deep Conditioner. Even took it for my stylist to try out in December. He loved it.

@@essiej5229are you using a different conditioner as your leave in. Maybe find one that’s meant to be used as a leave in or one that’s already in a spray bottle.

@@essiej5229 I don’t either. I use a light spray leave in after rinsing the deep conditioner out with warm water (while still in the shower but hair isn’t soaking wet). Keeps my hair from drying out and doesn’t leave a crunch. Then just apply my butter and oil and my hair is good for the week. I use the oat and aloe spray leave in by Now I Am Nappy (NIAN) by Michelle here on RUclips. The entire line is so moisturizing

Im always on the search for a very deep and moisturizing conditioner for my daughter extremely dry hair.she has low porosity hair and Nothing seems to enter her hair shafts. Tried olive oil, grapeseed oil , coconut oil, mask but Nothing seems to work. Any one has some advise. She has frizzy long hair full of tangles most of the time which makes it even worse on wash day

Use heat! Either get a steamer or use the greenhouse method (shower cap) to help products penetrate low porosity hair may need heat to help lift the hair cuticle to allow for moisture to penetrate

Hi ladies, does anyone's hair get extremely matted with the use of conditioners. Regardless of the brand? Like my hair just hates any product labelled as hair conditioner

Nexxus Humectress has been my long-term favorite conditioner. It does have protein in it but I have never experienced p-overload with it. It's packed full of ingredients that are heavy-hitters for my dry, porous, 3c hair:
Water (Aqua), Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Caviar Extract, Behentrimonium Chloride, Fragrance (Parfum), Dipropylene Glycol, Lactic Acid, Amodimethicone, Trehalose, Gluconolactone, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Potassium Chloride, DMDM Hydantoin, Disodium EDTA, PEG-7 Propylheptyl Ether, Cetrimonium Chloride, Hydrolyzed Actin, Adipic Acid, Sodium Sulfate, Hydrolyzed Roe, Fucus Vesiculosus Extract, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone
