I love when this music plays while they're talking about some academic shit because i can put my chin on my fingers and pretend to be smart for like 5 minutes straight.
Rango Not to mention the quantum physics and theories
@@tronk44 technically the same Phi
Or just actually be smart like me, gg git gud scrub.
Phi: "Blah blah Schrodinger's timeline multiverse high mathematics blah"
Sigma: "uhuh..uhuh..I know *some* of those words..."
I don't even understand the plot, let alone the complex science they talk about.
you listen to this while a plot twist blows your mind.
BUT FIRST
LET'S TALK ABOUT MORPHOGENETIC FIELDS
Pannen reference right?
Build up speed for 22.045 hours and you might find out.
@@JamesBCrazy You need to factor in the de facto speed. The total (experienced) time needed to build up speed is 22.045 * √6 which is 53.8887743412 hours.
@@yoshimario40 If you're wondering why I chose that particular number, try dividing.
@@JamesBCrazy By building up speed for that long, you can straightly go to the moon and kill the shit out of fat rabits
of course, by "Clarification", they mean "Things Will Make Even Less Sense Now"
I love this one. Equally useful at both "Now I get it!!!!!!!" and "I didn't get anything about what you just said, let me go back on the log" situations.
"The AB Game... _is_ the Prisoner's Dilemma."
🤯
This song makes me think so much of Phi... imo, it's her unofficial theme of sorts. I feel like it captures her character, as well as the general mood of VLR, pretty well. colder and more ""laid-back"" than the tense atmosphere of 999. it's awesome. this theme is awesome
Maybe because most of the pseudo-science monologues are done by her.
Agreed. It just matches with her character
I think the most intense part of the soundtrack is when you're about to put the password in the monitor (the lion eating the sun) and that super long flash back thing plays, and it gets louder and louder and louder.... and then it stops. It's SO freaky when you're at home, completely alone, and there's just complete silence. I don't know why, but I think this part affected me the most. I didn't even think about the password for the longest time, I just sat there, staring at the screen.....
That happens under "Sinisterness", the same track that you hear when you first wake up. There's also a whoosh-like sound effect that gets louder each time you click. It's not just the soundtrack, it's the whole scene, the way the image warps and that it's not an automatic cutscene, but YOU click to get the next part. I don't know why that last bit makes it better, I just know it does.
MEMENTO MORI... REMEMBER DEATH... MEMENTO MORI... REMEMBER DEATH... MEMENTO MORI... REMEMBER DEATH...
I love that the words are in the flashbacks hidden somewhere
Memento mori.
Remember death.
with all the dead on the screen
as you get spoiled on all of the deaths in this game at least you can jam to clarification
It's like a logic and trick theme
No, a reminiscence theme
@@donavonheim559 ... no
Its clearly a Logic and Trick theme. It even plays during similar moments.
Reminiscence themes would be Morphogenetic Sorrow or Blue Bird Lamentation
One of the best tracks in the game.
I love the Ace Attorney vibe!
Mastermind6425 I can definite see that. It reminds me of a mix between "Announce the Truth" and "Logic and Trick" in the very first game, not entirely, but kind of like a lighter version of the two. Still, there's something different about this track that just makes it fantastic
+Nightblade370 trance logic from aj kinda?
Memento mori
If the nineth lion ate the sun
That needs to be on a T-Shirt.
Remember Death
If the nineth lion ate the sun.
Arthur2light Does that mean 'Two milkmen go comedy!' Should be on a t shirt too?
absolutely not
Ultima DoombotMK1 kek
Ever since I was a kid...
I had been cursed...
To speak only in cat puns whenev-purr someone said something feline-related!
yea that always made me laugh as wtf does that even mean.
There's a secret file that goes more in depth
He was originally gifted with the ability to talk to cats under the condition he wouldn't tell anyone, but in his excitement and being young he immediately went to tell a girl to impress her.
A black cat cursed him to talk only in cat puns for the rest of his life as punishment, but later a white cat who had come across him and sensed the curse thought it was too harsh of a punishment, and so lessened the curse so it only happens when he talks about cats.
milliardo peacecraft woah
Yes continue with the puns
Its Purrfect
These cat puns are purr-eposteros
It also stands for the variable K, an unknown substitute in mathematics. It can also stand for Kanny, as Akane takes on the armor in a certain timeline.
Hey, so I just finished playing this week. I thought it standed for "Kurashiki" or "Kyle"/"Klim", depending on your choices.
@@agustinlencina736it does. K can be 3 people, Kurashiki/Kanny, Kyle/Klim, and unknown variable K (the player)
Every time this theme comes on I find myself questioning existence and the "true" brain of humanity. God damn did this series raise some good points.
This song makes me feel smart for about 4 and a half minutes
I love the sound of mai waifu explaining quantum physics to me.
When I ever I hear this song in the game I know what's going to happen. A:I'm gonna learn some shit that involves science! B: Stuff is being explained to me in the best way possible!
Best scientific vulgarisation ever
you know its big brain time when the big brain music comes on
"Quod tu es, ego fui, quod ego sum, tu eris"
"What you are I once was, what I am you will surely become."
Steins;Gate
Ace Attorney
Ghost Trick
This song sounds like it would fit in perfectly with those games. Can't tell you how many times I had to reread the scientific explanations. For a character you knew nothing about, phi knew a lot of information in this game.
When i hear this music i'm feeling really nostalgic of the game
Love that this song turns up with the search of "VLR monologue song"
Phi's theme! I named my youngest daughter after Phi, she always looks up when this plays.
soPHIa 😆
Really gives the vibe of trying to solve something while acknowledging how dire the stakes are
There is something Ace Attorney about this song's opening...
fredthemontymole Just imagine how epic a Phoenix Game would be with this style of soundtrack... I should make/edit a video featuring a mashup of both games for an awesome feel.
Lexyvil Aww YES ! I imagined that, man that IS awesome !!! Do that ! Now !
Probably the best escape room/mystery mindfuck game i have ever played. Also amazing soundtrack overall.
I love how the main medley sounds like it is trying to hide another darker tune just underneath the surface which slowly comes out and reveals itself towards the end of the loop.
I really like that theme. When I'm stuck on a programation stuff, i listen to this theme to help me... Then I come with a bright idea!
I belong to an organization known as the Myrmidons. You’ve probably never heard of it.
Best song from one of the best games ever... K for president
prepare to pseudoscience
YOU ARE AWESOME. Describes Zero Escape in a nutshell. (Nice icon and username, by the way.)
NO ALIBI NO JUSTICE NO DREAM NO HOPE!
ITS TIME TO PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES!
Why ace attorney reference?
@@Ray_Moses Cause it sounds like a 'Trick and Logic'-type theme from Ace Attorney? I think it was, it was 7 years ago.
This is no ordinary bomb.
This... is an anti-matter bomb.
This is the "Alright listen up fuckers it's about to get real scientific in here" theme
Best song on the OST!
Spoilers
Alice's death wasn't homocide. IT WAS SUICIDE. Love the moment where Sigma goes jesus in the luna path
+Rango well, her nickname is "Cleaver" for a reason
I LOVE THIS OST, I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS FOR SO LOOONG ;___;
We're making it out of ryzome 9 with this one💯🗣️🗣️💯💯💯
Hell yeah 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
when everything unfolds
Oh my god... This is...
And also the theme for science
Oh holy shit didnt expect to see you here
Wait what? I've played every Ace attorney game but...I'm not seeing it?
+Magic I think it's more Ghost Trick, which is made by the same guy.
+Magic ? Can't see what?
+aneonfoxtribute
Oh, i guess if you're not looking at the top comments, its lacking context.
A number of people are comparing this piece to some tracks of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, specifically logic and trick. But i cant hear it, it sounds very original to me. No other similar tracks came to mind for me.
Magic Oh, yeah, I can hear it. It's more prominent at the beginning of the song, but the similarity is definitely there.
I'm a fairly Cynical Cid, but I think that's a case of "I've played this niche DS game series and enjoy it" and then everyone floods them with thumbs up because "under-appreciated game"
Theme of me explaining the FNAF lore to my friends
That's an interesting theory, but Zero III did mention a failsafe check that counters your point.
Remember the scanners beyond the primary chromatic doors? The ones which determine whether or not the right combination of players entered the right door?
Zero III mentioned that a similar system is installed in the AB rooms as well. This is why pairs and solos cannot share an AB room.
It has some professor layton vibe in it for me :D
Science: The Song
Prissoner's Dilemma
This is like the equivalent of Digital Root in 999. I love it very much.
The opening for this is Tubular Bells, right? Love it either way.
Great game and a shame there may not be a third.
I was able to screenshot that moment on the vita and made it a background cuz its so epic
I don't like how this starts as a thriller/agony theme and then the happy melody overrides it! I wish they left it as it started.
Let's be real, most of us don't understand all the science-y stuff in the game but it's still interesting anyway
Getting real Phoenix Wright vibes from this track...
His name is Kyle Klim, as such, K. Doesn't really matter if you know the name, while its name spoiling, you have nothing to really compare it to XP
This is the song that plays when the phazon distortion waves are percolating the nethersphere
This music sounds so....sad? I have no idea why though
Mukuro Ikusaba, the 16th Student, lying hidden somewhere in this school… the one they call the Ultimate Despair, Watch out for her.
oh fuck wrong game
They repeated this shity line like 20 times, it's so f-ng bad. Like teag thanks i remember about Ikusaba Mukuro you don't need to remind me!
this and blue bird best ost
I would sure love it if someone explained ventriloquism to me in scientific and logical terms!
so much love
this song is so beautiful :')
This must play during that screenshot of Sigma's "Phoenix Wright" moment, or I will be sad.
SPOILERS
The only time I don't agree with the use of this song was in room Q. It stands out too much during Akane's speech (maybe due to the sound quality of the voice, well, I saw in the Japanese version) . Something like "digital root" from 999 would work better, personally.
But it's still a great song, by the way, one of my favorites!
My favorite track.
Best song on the OST. The first few notes make me think of Tetris.
For instance,
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!! for everyone else, by the way...
Remember when Phi locked Dio out of their AB room to assure K that her group would not betray him? According to your logic, Dio should still be able to join K in his AB room, and perhaps even get lucky enough to cast K's vote for him.
It's well thought out - and Dio even tried to get away with it - but ultimately, the AB room rejected him, and the announcer reported that an incorrect set of bracelets was present.
You have a point there, it's been a while since I've finished the game, so I don't remember...Man, this game is dense. Gotta love it though! :D
I think it also plays at certain parts of Dio and Clover's endings, when they are giving you information. If not this specific piece, it sounds very similar.
This soundtrack is radical.
I don't know why, but every time I hear this song, I think of Ace Attorney. Either there was a similar topic, or it just seems to me that it would have been there just right.
Beautiful...
RIP Zero Escape... This is a bigger tragedy than Shenmue 3.
eandjproductions2 NO IT WILL LIVE. WE SHALL REVIVE ITTTT.

Type in that address.
ya i saw that.
it was first 303 then 302,202. And now it's 102
If it's a timer for zero escape 3 does this mean Sigma will have a shotgun, clover eats ice cream and Junpei and Akane are gonna get married???
You know Shotgun, ring, ice cream and all that.
bilguun alix Well all signs point to Zero Escape 3 and that timer ends on a date where Askys usually announces their games.
eandjproductions2 Really when???
I think of Phi explaining Schrödinger's cat.
I love how K's real name is my name. :)
*****
Does not, however, lack for spoilers.
Reminds me of any time I've had to take an assessment or test.
Must....like...all...OSTs....
Prepare for incoming bombshells and jaw-droppers
Totally VLR's "Digital Root" type song if you get what I mean. Gotta love it.
I must have made at least forty Kenstar impressions while playing this game, and most of them where while this song was playing. "That explains everthing!"
Love this song!
Sigma everytime this plays: "....hmm.. Cat."
You're about to learn shit son
Neku
@@SeiyaTempest exactly
*sniff* don't cry mayne.....
This song always creeped me out... Probably because I first heard it from Dio's ending.
OOOOOBBBBBJJJJJJJEEEECCCTTTTIIIIOOOONNNN to Dio's face cause he is a d o u c h e.
*Does this music has copyright?*
I have 69 hours in this game. I rewatched everything. Caude thats hoe much i loved this game!
@draggy22213 yea with a Death Note vibe
I was going to give this a thumbs up but your at 6 thumbs up.. it would seem wrong to spoil that.
GalaticImluna isn't human!
THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!
Playing this while a doing street fighter 6 combo
nice one, e;r
HUh? I didn't catch it. Explain, I'm interested to hear
I think it might have something to do with his real name. Any more than that would be spoiling, and I don't wanna do that, especially not on youtube > A>
Ah, so I'm not the only one who called it that. xD
