Come Dine With Me takes people who are experts in the art of giving the perfect dinner party and puts their skills to the test. All are great cooks and excellent hosts - but they're all very different. So, if one person's perfect dinner party is another person's evening from hell, how will our hosts cope with a whole week of each other's hospitality?
Each night for a week, one of our hosts will throw a dinner party for the others. They all have their own unique styles of cooking and entertaining, but they're all determined to impress, because at the end of each evening, the guests will give their host a mark out of ten. The host with the most points at the end of the week wins £1,000 pounds. Come Dine With Me has expanded to a variety of formats including singles, couples and celebrity specials!

me too. i get nauseous the moment i get the smell of dogs in houses. i hate going to houses where people let animals come indoors
I can't eat in a house where dogs roam around and the smell always hits me as soon as I walk through the door... that smell! How people live amongst it is beyond me.

Only a tight £1,000! Doesn’t channel 4 realise that the cost of living has gone up quite significantly in 19 years!
I think even more so, because of the cost of living, £1,000 is still a gratefully received amount of money. It would certainly feed my overdraft!

I noticed british TV doesn't give out lots of cash prizes like American. All those cooking shows and they don't give anything to the winner!

Jordana comes across as sloppy and insecure. Not much effort made with the starter. Also, it's clear that she didn't like the "oldies" & might be intimidated by their personalities. Whether Jane was the worse person to find the dog hair in the food or not, not eating her food would be reasonable.
