I'm moving to Canada in a couples of weeks, and the two Lodges in the region where I'll live are "Canadian Craft". I'm a F.C. in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, from Brazil, looking forward to be accepted among new brothers.
I'm going Nov 10, 2018 for my 32 degree in Albany NY. I am excited to be part of such a wonderful group of brothers and making me a better man. Life is rewarding in Masonry.

Very nice video. I have been an active Scottish Rite Freemason for nearly 38 years. I followed my father's footsteps into the Valley of Boston Massachusetts.
But it also looks like the freemasonry serves as a recruiting path for certain key positions in the society. Who is directed into these sidepaths are not necessarily those having reached the highest degrees, but those that for some time have shown to be most loyal to certain principles and objectives. Those in the highest degrees seem to serve as headhunters in that process though.
@mo Mo Lol.. sometimes, I'm tempted!... but seriously, Freemasonry promotes brotherly love..but if there is a Brother inside the Lodge room with whom you are at variance, it is expected that you invite him to withdraw so that you may settle your differences amicably. If this is achieved, you may sit together inside as Brothers and equals. If this is not achieved, it would bet better if one or both were to remain outside, lest the harmony of the Lodge be disturbed.
Im not a Mason even tho i have been invited to join, however i study The Golden Dawn, The Hermetic Order, Ordo Templi Orientis and of course Kabbalah Upon speaking with Lodge Members many of them werent aware of Tarot or Magickal Alphabet invoking evoking among other things they stated they werent allowed to study other material or under other teachers unless given to them by the Lodge and that really turned me off can someone help me understand this better did i misunderstand. Tnx

I'm pleased for folk who benefit but let's stay rooted to reality. I'm not a mason and have seen as much division because of masonry as I have with religions and cults in my society in Scotland.
@Jonathan Brown There's no division IN Freemasonry. The way we achieve this, is the ban on all discussion of religion and politics at meetings. If there is any divide, it's due to the ridiculous things that non-Masons suspect about us. Either that, or you are mistaking Freemasonry for Celtic Lodges....where there is LOTS of unrest and infighting. They are VERY different!
I have seen division in my church NOT because of Freemasonry, but because of the bias against Freemasonry. Members of the fraternity are railed against once found out even if they are minding their own business. My experience with Freemasonry so far has been to be surrounded by great civilized community men who come from all backgrounds. They help people regardless of their religion or race which is contrary to most conservative churches.
@@mariahyohannes Good morning Mariah. Good question and thank you for it. It is not at all necessary to be religious in order to be moral. There are plenty of moral men, who are atheists... my own son for a start! But for those men that are religious, their own religion, whatever that may be, preaches it's own form of morality and each Mason is expected to follow his own religion in his own way. The reason that all discussion of religion and politics is forbidden, is that there are fundamental differences between them all and discussion of them has the potential to cause discord and disharmony...and we as Masons are all about harmony and friendship. The original British stonemasons from the middle ages formed "guilds" which were the forerunners of workers co-operatives today. They were mostly Christian and took their morality directly from the Holy Bible. Freemasonry, it is thought, emerged from these guilds and as a nod to our supposed beginnings, a Holy Bible must be present and opened at all of our meetings.
