Well if it is Canada I would prefer it would be the far north Arctic area so Polar Bears Musk Ox and Walruses can be hunted. Because honestly anywhere else in Canada sounds pretty boring, like a New England 2.0 in terms of returning vs new animals, because I can think of only a couple animals in like Alberta for example that you can't already hunt somewhere else in the game. In other words I vote somewhere along the Nunavut Territory.
I think there should be a map with just like the Yukon but with dall sheep/stone sheep, goats, elk, moose, caribou, wolves, grizzly’s, bison etc. It would be sweet if they could make big mountains (that are reasonable for the game) to hunt. Steep areas with little trails or something would be unreal.
@@Liofa73 By july we will be glad any map. Then devs will do a trick with the tents, give us the most difficult GO and we'll happily grab each other's throats, forgetting about the map...😎
I would love a Yukon/Nunuvat Canada map, with Polar Bears, Bison, Moose, Grizzly Bear, Grey Wolves, Wolverine, Mountain Caribou, Dall Sheep, Mountain Goat, Musk OX, Ptarmigan, Arctic Fox, Maybe some grouse.
The two new species will cut off the debate about the lack of something new. The rest will depend on the right choice of GO. Tahr, pheasant and fox only accessible to 1% of players due to the complexity. 5 level Caribou (reindeer) spawns like as shot as Gatling gun but has one big problem.... trolls. But it would suit everyone. And casuals and grinders. P.S. but devs will give us a wolf GO. 5000 kills and you will get it. 😆
I always dreamed to hunt caribou, polar fox (white-red fox), polar bear (white grizzly), moose, gray wolf, bison (musk ox), lynx, goose and ducks. How I miss this kind of hunting.
@@dgeesiogaming It's unlikely that devs will made polar bears as dangerous as tiger. Polar bear has the same size as grizzly. Devs will lazily paint the grizzly in white and sell it to you.
@@Vladislav-mu1nz What a nonsense. Polar bears do not have the same size as grizzly bears, nor do they look alike. Should they add polar bears, they would make it a new model.
I can’t see it being anything other than a NWT + Nunavut + Yukon Territory map, especially given how heavily it was teased during the Winter Preview Show. To hype up a NEM 2.0 map so heavily would be upsetting for so many.
Grinders hate NEM. The rest don't care where they wander. Casual hunters have only one big problem. Without thousand of repeated kills they can't get GO.
@@Ethanrocks-mv2ol New England Mountains map. This map has become a place of great controversy regarding copy and paste. No new animals only beautiful places. And rivers. Grinders hate rivers.
I think this idea would be lovely and makes perfect sense! They should take some notes from Red Dead 2 with the mountainous areas having more snow progressively as you get higher into the mountains but there are also areas down further that don't have any snow. Yukon is kinda like that but it could be done better for sure. Please give us the Great One Mule Deer!!! PLEASE!!!
Canada is a large enough country for a couple reserves Though as someone from Alberta, a reserve in Alberta would have far too many returning big game species and would be better suited for releasing alongside a massive update (like a massive backfill update) But since you mentioned the potential for Great One Caribou and Polar Bear, I would suggest either the Northwest Territories or Nunavut (or both of them in one map) as the likely setting for an upcoming Canadian Reserve It would allow them to also get those Whiterime Ridge vibes in COTW and also add other highly requested species like Dall’s Sheep, Muskoxen and Walrus
I think to try to avoid a nap too similar to New England Mtns, or Yukon Valley, I think they should have a map that it a north Canadian map with mountains flowing into Arctic Tundra like Medved. If they do the mountains right, they could have Mountain Goat, Dall sheep, Grey Wolves, Grizzly and Polar Bears, Bison, Moose, Musk Ox, Mountain Caribou, Wolverine, Arctic Fox, and several bird species like Ptarmigan. It would be my dream map, combing that of Yukon Canada and Nunuvat.
Canada sounds ace! Wasn’t happy about the new bird hunting map that’s just come out at first, but I am actually enjoying hunting there. Looking forward to to a proper big map though with all those animals, especially wolves, I love hunting wolves. Great video, thanks for sharing.
In the winter show, they previewed a small clip of the top of snowy trees with the caption “and a lot more coming in the summer of 2025…” so it will come in june!
@@dgeesiogaming this is definitely my first choice, and in the winter they can release another small map such as the amazon or even another alaska map. I know alot of people want texas but i would like to change it up a little bit
Newfoundland would be nice since that’s where I live but most animals are already in Yukon except for Artic Fox, Silver Fox, Weasels, Pine Martins, Otters, Beaver, Muskrat, Arctic Hare, Snowshoe Hare, Polar Bear. Also would be a great way to introduce the Great One Caribou because we have huge Woodland Caribou. And maybe a side mission for a Pheasant because there has been talks of Pheasants in Newfoundland. May I add they should introduce snaring into the game which is very popular in newfoundland.
Yes definitely, I am for that the new map for the new reserve is somewhere in Canada as long as the animal included is the polar bear and it's a way also to introduce the Canadian beaver in which everyone in the community wants to hunt badly because they are responsible for making our tents fall, I believe there are many who have a vendetta against this pest including myself 😠. There are many animals in Canada that we can hunt like the arctic wolf, the cougar, the Canadian moose, the caribou, the grizzly bear, the arctic fox, the Canadian lynx and so on. By the way I find it pretty cool the movement of the water in the Yukon Valley reserve when your dog is sitting looking at you, your German Shorthaired Pointer is really funny in this video.🤣
Yukon Valley is pretty much exactly the same as the Canadian Wilderness. Layton Lakes is in the Pacific Northwest, so that's exactly like British Columbia. You could do a Prairies map, but parts of Yukon and the north of Revontuli already look like that. Besides in Canada you'd end up with all the same species. I doubt it's Canada. Somewhere else in Asia would add more variety; China or Japan. Or another African map...
Yeah Canada Sounds Good,i was looking at the new world map and looks like we are never getting a uk map as the new german map covers over the uk on the world map.Not really a fan of snow maps but the more maps the better.

The only problem with the caribou/reindeer being a GO is that it is very hard for them to make Diamond.
