I have one and its good for its price. The one problem for me is , like you also mention , it does copy paste overdub record quantise function, but no punch in record at a certain measure of a song your creating , so if you have recorded 16 bars and want to punch in record at bar 17 , you have to start the song at measure 1 wait till bar 17 and continue recording , why they left off punch in at a certain measure is a mystery. So unless you have the ability to play a full track all the way through without making a mistake ,it makes the sequencer unusable . but still a good buy.
. STEVE WEBB... Couldn't you make some kind of "punch" in the 17 measure by using another of the 16 tracks available ??? Provided that you still have some of them yet free to record....? That's what I did in my casio WK-3300 for a simple instrumental... So I made the record in different tracks... Just drums with intro changes and endind, then the bass, and lastly the same piano in different tracks, (for eliminating the errors that you mention...)... It sounds like just one piano but real fine to me... Simple but really expressive indeed...! I think that's what music is in the end... Try that, it may be useful unless you want to make something really complex... Or... "Very Professional" although, I've seen some examples of recordings in the Roland Phantom Synth-Sequencer and... Despite all the Tecno and Quality sounds there, something is lacking. It doesn't seem to have real drum patterns there, (impossible to believe it...!), So, if you do them by yourself, they sound fully "electronic" and antinatural, taking off all the quality there to all your recordings.... Am I exaggerating...??? Maybe, but some virtuosos and professionals make unbelievable mistakes with music creation...
Good video indeed Tech...! Couldn't you do also another over the WK-3300 or 3600 or 3900 which are more or less the same but, they do have the option to modify deeply and to record your "own sounds"... And much, much more...! Think about it and... Thanks in advance...

YES! It is so annoying! I am sure it would not have been difficult to include that feature. Oh well, I still love it!

Can you save the mixer settings to the SD card or via MIDI?
I wish you could. I have tried but no luck. If anyone knows how to do this, please share!
