In my bag rn (not my school one) - sketchbook, headphones, 10 bucks, snapple, two sets of prismacolor pencils, handful of markers, pad, crumpled up pieces of paper, and some random polaroids
with my going out bag (usually a cross bag): portable charger w/ 3 inch cord phone airpods pads if i need them lip balm or lip gloss my wallet maybe a stick

Cuz if you go through my bag you're gonna find stuff like: Candy wrappers (that I was too lazy to throw away), Actual candy(if I didn't eat it...), Random erasers, Led pencils, Even more led pencils, Pens(colors vary), A notepad, A sketchbook, Sticky notes, Highlighters, My phone, Headphones, Hair wrappers, Haircomb(depends on hairstyle), Sharpies, Random paperwork I never turned in, my wallet, carmex, tissue, etc.(it can be more or less than this depending on the day, most likely more....)
As a young adult, I feel like I'm a combination of both of these. Like Gift, I try to pack things so that I'm prepared for anything; but I also find myself taking random receipts out of the bottom of my bag, and a small amount of loose change. I carry a backpack instead of a purse so that I have the option of bringing a book to read in waiting rooms and stuff.
