I have this car, driven 9000kms. I had gloster, fortuner, i have driven almost all cars of this segment except tiguan. Trust me i am going to review every carof this segment unbiased. I will start with fortuner which is the best selling car of this segment. if you want big engine with power definitely fortuner is the king, pros of fotuner :- good after sale service, excellent resale value,very good braking system. but i personally dislike fortuner for some reason like very heavy bulky steering not at all a fun to drive car, very noisy cabin. No features, it not at all justify its price. Now second car is gloster, gloster has everything except acceleration and braking apart from that very worst after sale service. Pros of gloster very spacious, too many features, good quality of material being used in making car. Justifying its price tag. Car cabin is silent. If problems like acceleration and braking has been rectify by company, trust me gloster is as capable as BMW X7, yes X7. Because both has almost same cabin space, and good quality of material used in cabin. Now third car is kodiaq, kodiaq is the best among all in terms of driving, you will love to drive this vehicle.very luxurious cabin. But lacks of some space, actually you will feel it’s actually more a crossover rather than a suv. Kodiaq is best car in daily use car which suites in traffic situation like in mumbai delhi. Cons of kodiaq very expensive to maintain, after sale service in not good, service station doesn’t bothers about you and your car. They keep the car for 2-3 days even for simple service. Worst resale value. Fuel efficiency is even the most worst part of this car. 5/6 kmpl. Third one is this meridian, which is presently i am having. Pros :-very much fun to drive, steering is too light. Cabin is very quite. You hardly have a noise from outside world. Fuel efficiency is ok ok 10-11 kmpl in city as i m a having 4x4 and 13/14 kmpl on highway. Justify its price tag as i brought at Rs 44.80 lakhs After discount,after sale serice is ok ok. Not bad. Its a combination of kodiaq and gloster in my opinion. Car offers good and useful features especially like seat ventilation. Ground clearance is also good. Cons:- seats as very hard and stiff. After few 100s kms of driving your back would get pain, n yes car is under powered you will feel it even after overtaking a maruti ertiga not at all a punchy acceleration. Fifth one is mahindra alturas. Cant review much about alturas as i have driven it just 500-600 kms that too before 5-6 years. As far as I remember about alturas it offers good features, drives also good, you will feel it that you are driving a expensive car like germans. Rest car seats are not comfortable.rest i dont know and remember much about alturas. at the last i have driven endeavour also, trust me endeavour is the real king of this segment.it has power even more power than fortuner, cabin is also satisfied like jeep or gloster, So rank wise i will rate the cars on the basis’s of their driving pleasure only. 1) kodiaq 2) meridian 3) endeavour 4) alturas 5) gloster, 6) fortuner. Alturas and endeavour are no more in the indian market. So we have options among remaining. So if you want to buy among these. choosing among these cars is definitely subjective. If you want only power and punchy acceleration go for fortuner, If you want good driving pleasure just for city drive go for kodiaq, If you want city and off road drive and go anywhere car choose between gloster and meridian.

This is a useless car.I had it and we went for offroading with it and sold it the day after. It could not even handle amateur offroading and because of that we had to get a new tyre. 0/100 for this car would never recommend
