    sheerkhorma is a Persian word meaning sheer -sweet and khorma-soup so it literally means sweetsoup

    • @KAR5759
      @KAR5759 8 лет назад +5

      Sheer is a corrupted form of the Hindi word Kheer which again is a corrupted form of the Sanskrit word Ksheer which means Milk. Since this kheer is generally white in color the name stuck to such sweet puddings made from milk and later changed to mean anything which is sweet, thus meaning sweet in Farsi or Persian.

      +sm k you are right

    • @unic-k4q
      @unic-k4q 8 лет назад +1

      +sm k Sanskrit, Prakrit and Urdu were the offspring languages of ancient Persian language Avestan, as the Indians from the North were originally migrants from there. And Hindi originated from Sanskrit. The actual true Indians were the Dravidians, who lived in India since eons ago and their language is one among the ancient languages of the world.

    • @KAR5759
      @KAR5759 8 лет назад +4

      +ainnhana Wrong! The actual ancient language of the World is Sanskrit and all Indo-European languages of the World are derived from Sanskrit....this has been proved beyond any doubt by so many scholars. And North Indians, according to you, are not Aryans who came from Europe via Iran bringing in European and Avesthan language and culture into India. If you are prepared to believe in the proper history, then the spread of language and culture was the other way round - from India to Europe via the middle-east (Iran).

    • @shaan97
      @shaan97 8 лет назад +2

      sm k sanskrit is not the oldest language it originated from Dravidians (Tamilians) before saying anyone to believe in proper history and lab lab what all you said. First know which is the oldest language is it sanskrit or anyother language. You can take many temples which originated before origin of Sanskrit where the scripts are Tamil. I can challenge and debate on it anywhere. If you are ignorant just find out the issues and the root. There is a saying "while a cat drinking milk in a vessel it closes its eyes and thinks no one is seeing" just like that many people mind set is that sanskrit is oldest language but it is not. First you believe in the proper history and culture and language which one is oldest and then debate.. All the best for your future. Keep smiling.
