I really enjoyed listening to your outlook on these changes. I have a lot of similar opinions and some opposite ones but it was vastly different from what I've been hearing from the community, very refreshing. I like the way PoE 1 is going with their game design and am excited to put another 6000 hours in.
Trading QoL improvements are aimed at nullifying need for TFT and such, the bigger share of 3rd parties in trading becomes, the more space for RMT there is, which in turn means undermining PoE as a whole (barring SSF). It's just faster than it is to develop replacements for services in the game. But Mark recently said that on his whiteboard there's a long-term goal to get mirror services done completely in game. So I'm all for automating services if there is not enough resources to compete with 3rd party service providers

I agree with your quality of life comments - if we get too much quality of life then everything is quality and there is no quality, just life, and we play PoE to escape our daily life and why why why did I leave my wife Margarette I know I haven’t been a perfect husband and played way too much PoE instead of going to Claire’s dance recital but when the new league was announced I couldn’t stop thinking about my league starter, something with Archmage but maybe just something I’m more used to like blade vortex or and I don’t know what I’m going to do now that the PoE2 beta is delayed and now I’m just worried that the world is going to end before the game comes out and what if Jonathan dies in a car accident or Mark chokes on steak or a global catastrophe happens and delays the game indefinitely. This is exactly how I felt reading the patch notes and watching the stream! I am also really hyped to run campaign a lot slower and die much more, I mean, it was too easy. Good job GGG!

Not every player could get to Uber fights before the changes. I know many players with over 1k hours clocked that did not fight Ubers (and spme of them aren't even interested). Also if we have too much fun it will push us away from the game? What kind of weird logic ios that? Clearly the most fun I have the more I want to play.
I see that you aren't looking for new subscribers who's hyped about playing Necropolis and watches a lot of videos about it. Fair enough! Edit: Comments here say that it's satire... I know. Where's the fun part though. To me the fun part is playing the game and learning new things about it.
