Made hijrah to Oman 3 months ago Alhamdulilah. Beautiful country, the people are hospitable and the natural beauty reminds me makes me ponder about Allah swt creation everyday. Alhamdulilah
The reason you’d see so many different looking Arabs in Oman is because, alongside the native Omani Arabs, Baluchis, and South Asians, there are also many Omani Arabs of Zanzibari heritage, or the East African coast to be precise. Many Swahili Arabs migrated to Oman after the forced merge of Zanzibar and Tanganyika (Tanzania). This migration was driven by the mistreatment and exploitation of Zanzibar by the mainland government. Many of those of Arab origin moved to Oman, especially when the late Sultan Qaboos began building the country and invited back those with Omani heritage, even if they were mixed. For instance, the current Grand Mufti of Oman was born in Zanzibar, along with a few others who are also in the government. Fast forward to today, and you’ll also see some Omanis with a variety of appearances and complexions throughout the country. In addition to Arabic, Swahili is also spoken there among some locals, especially in Muscat.
I remember a lot of Swahili sisters from Oman and Zanzibar in the UK. They were really so nice, polite, respectful, hospitable and good Muslims alhamdulillah.
I have recently got residency permit Oman Oman is the place to be. From my perspective I’ve witnessed the best manners in the Muslim world. Very conservative country, affordable living and expat friendly. And beautiful culture and amazing landscapes
Ma shaa Allah, I like the calm vibes in this one, did the Omanis infect you with their attitude?😁 Also a breath of fresh air to see Oman debut on your channel and looking forward to more details about the country✌🏼
Brother, I have been trying to move to Oman with my family from Canada, for a while now. Please let us know of any beneficial information you might have. In sha Allah when Allah decides for us, we are ready to move😇🤲🏽
Abu Barza reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent a person to a tribe amongst the tribes of Arabia. They reviled him and beat him. He came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and narrated to him (what they did). Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: “If you were to come to the people of Oman, they would have neither reviled you nor cursed you” (Sahih Muslim)

The evil in salalah is less than the rest of the country. But its still ibadhi controlled. The omani studnets of knowledge in salalah are banned from giving duroos. Salalah is nice for quick visit. But i would not advice anyone to move to Oman.
@@MakeHijrahOfficial You're a bit hasty akhi. read what i said. They are controlled by the ibadhis. They removed the people of sunnah i.e the students of knowledge with the correct aqeeda The shayan khalil made sure to put poeple they want in these mosques from omani 'sunis' to Egyptians. I used to live in Oman and i know what i'm talking about.

Love to see you went to Oman. I went recently and had a fantastic time, a very hospitable low key place. No hassle and just easy to travel around
Good to know!
Looks beautiful there .
TabarakAllah lots of info. Amazing
Allahummah baarik the country looks nice and peaceful
I'm from Zanzibar
Oman really goes out of its way to avoid constructing modern architecture unlike its neighbours in the Gulf, which I happen to think is a good thing.

This is not true, the entire Dofar region is Sunni. All the masjids are Sunni it’s little to no Ibadi presence.

Oman has a reputation of being nice country with hospitable people but good God is it one boring place man ...
Boring is good
@cf1930 that's why everyone leaves 😂😂
Everyone like who?

Oman is mostly Ibadi! Do better!
There are people upon the sunnah there so let's not generalise the whole country
@@AM-cp6czI am sure the brother told no lies. Keyword being "mostly"
@ around 50% is ibadi! You wouldn’t make hijrah to Iran!
@millhouseSpeaks Salalah is 100% Sunni on the Shafi madhab. In fact the whole southern region is Sunni. Please do some research before you speak.
@ your response doesn’t invalidate my first or second comment! Also there are parts of Iran that are Sunni that would you go there
Dieing to be out of the UK inshallah middle east/Malaysia IA
