Uhm... anyone that has read the source material: Could you explain the reason behind the annoying beeches that treat him like some sort of incarcerate slave even though they depended on him to get them out of the forrest? It's like they own him, not letting him out of the town while they do whatever they want? Other than the juice girl, who at least seems to like him in some sort of way, the other chicks, especially the class rep, are trash. So, if anyone knows, could you please explain what is going on? Does he ever get to leave them dumb beeches?
Because they know he is reckless and actually worry about him, it doesn't help that he almost died twice fighting (and killing) Tanaka in the most recent episode. The best example of this, after they scolded him for going after Tanaka alone (he almost died) is when he falls on the last floor of a dungeon by accident. They panic until the gyarus see that they are gaining exp. (Thanks to his Taming skill) so they become determined to rescue him, they end up meeting again anyway because while they are going down to try to save him, he is going up to get out of the dungeon.

@@igounfazed Haruka isn't weak, but, he realizes that if the battle goes on for too long he will lose, he starts trying to use qigong techniques to get stronger (yup, we enter the realm of cultivation of Chinese manhua from volume 9 onwards).
@@TheSpawnfan I mean weak as in he gets taken advantage of by the people around him. In the last couple of episodes, the chicks act like they own him, prohibiting him from even leaving town. That degree of weakness is not for me. It doesn't even make sense because, well, they couldn't do anything without him, and now, all of a sudden after arriving to town, they get to tell him what to do? I'm fine with some of the weak male characters that japan puts out, but this one is too much, especially for a title that says *loner* in it.
@igounfazed He is actually damaged, as in mentally and spiritually broken, he lost his whole family in quick succession so, he puts up walls like talking the way he does and not bothering to remember anyone's names (except for Tanaka, because Tanaka is a psychopath) but due to the tragedies in his life he just can't ignore people in danger, but, you have a point, many of the girls are a bit too much, the jocks at least try to entertain Haruka by acting dumb when he's around, the nerds realized Haruka rizzed all the girls so they go looking for demihuman girls but don't take Haruka with them (ah, yes, most of the girls like him, The Class Rep outright loves him so she has the justification of being scared the guy she loves gets killed).
