This song does get across why people are so attached to religion. In this difficult world filled with violence, it’s reassuring to think that there is someone who can take it all away like magic. Wish people didn’t have to be terrible about it, but I can understand.
People who believe in God feel much more peace in their hearts because trusting in God gives you peace, it makes you feel much calmer, you feel that you are safe in the hands of a being who does not want your downfall, after all human beings fear the unknown and God cannot be understood by man, but the message that God left man is this: God loves you and does not want you to die in your sins, that is why he sent his son, to that He who was innocent, died for the salvation of all the guilty
@@enzotoro791 I personally am more calmer since I left christianity. There’s such a thing as religious trauma and in my experience many christians are the exact opposite of calm
@@DelfyDaun some people use religion as a way to comfort themselves in a difficult world. Others use it as a bludgeon to get what they want while maintaining their moral high ground.
I don't think this song is about God taking it away like magic. More like bearing your suffering with you through it. Like Psalm 23 says, though the Shepherd leads his sheep "through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil." The shepherd has to experience that valley with his sheep in order to lead them through it.
I don't think really think of my relationship with God as just a religion, I think it's so much more than just believing in God and worshipping Him. It's giving Him your life/dedicating your life to Him and even if you fall short on your part of the relationship, He will lift you up, encourage you, and help you. Walking with God is a daily commitment. He's a supernatural being rather than a figment of imagination. ❤️ Personally, God did actually take away a lot of my pain rather than me just sitting around hoping that He would remove it from my life. I struggled with depression and anxiety for several years, even going to counselors and trying to find things or hobbies to fill the empty void within me. I also tried using self-soothing and calming tactics for people with PTSD. Nothing seemed to work and I questioned my worth as a human. However, when I was at my lowest --- suicidal, isolating myself, and struggling with disordered eating --- God came into my life. In my brokenness and loneliness, I remember crying out to Him in the middle of the night with a heavy pain in my heart, just in case He existed and could hear me. I believe He heard me and saw my heart during those long, cold nights because as soon as I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior, He literally took it all away. He didn't take it away like magic, rather He took it so I wouldn't take myself away from physical existence. He had a better plan for my life and would be filled with sorrow if I had just gave into my pain. And rather than reassuring, I also like to think refreshing. God is true refreshment, renewing us day by day. While suffering and struggling can't be avoided in life, Jesus Christ can redeem it and use it for good. ❤️❤️❤️ Also sorry for the long comment. I just thought it might be worth commenting for anyone who might be encouraged with how God can work in people's lives, even if this only speaks to one person's heart. God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. There isn't anything He can't do for you. Grace and peace!

This is an amazing song, and I want to sing it for the school talent show, but it's religious... and I'm kinda an atheist, and since it's a school... If anyone can find a substitute for the words, 'Jesus Christ' on the throne part or something, that would be AMAZING. All due respect to you Christians, of course.
Ik this is old but you could say, "the god(s)/goddess(es)" "the artist" (since it references that earlier on), "the universe", or simply "the king(s)/queen(s)" whatever you prefer!
I love this and how the song can be interpreted as only good, it makes my heart warm to see people relating to a song but having different meanings, you know what I’m saying?
The thing is people are like oh my gosh this is barely a Christian song. The whole thing talks about how you are born again in Christ alone, so do you research because that’s what it saying it’s not saying blah blah blah oh god’s on the throne it’s saying that God is lord of all. He’s also on the throne, of course but still just read it or whatever read the lyrics and try to realize how that’s not just a story it’s truth and it’s all the Christian song all about the Lord.
I’ve never been a hardcore religious type of person, and oddly enough in recent times I’ve felt I leaned more into paganism which- depending on who you ask- is a pretty far cry from Christianity. Regardless this song has always felt like it has a close place in my heart. Though this may not be the true meaning it has- a song that seems to revolve around the idea of your own existence, your creation and being made of something imperfect but trusting the process of the world making you and how you grow- who you become almost has meant a lot to me as a trans man. I’ve known for such a long time and every time I listen to this song, it brings me a lot of happiness and peace of mind. (Duely noted If you’re going to be a bigot or judge my personal religious beliefs; I will not respond to you. Have a nice day 😊)
It's giving Xie Lian, specifically the Dianxia bit, but you know what else it's giving? Every confused feeling I've ever had as a non-cis non-het semi-Christian--
Am I the only one that hears "hauntING by a darker side" every time??? I swear, I just can't hear "haunted" even if I stare at the word when that line is played.
I love this song, but i really hate it when people add different music on the end of lyric videos like this. I came here to listen to this song, not yours. It's really annoying.
This song is brilliant. I was deceived into thinking that I could worship God and his Creation but this is false and Jesus is the Only way. The Bible is in truth and I pray everyone receives the Love they need to open their hearts to Jesus. God gave us the ultimate sacrifice so that we could have a relationship with him Eternally. There is No greater gift. His Love continues to purify my heart. ❤
Honestly- I'm not religious.. or at least not a believer in the Christian faith. But this song was amazing. It was wonderful. I hope that there are Christians out there, (or any religous individuals anyhow), which actually follow what was meant to be a loving path. Because I am absolutely tired of those of you who tear others down in the name of Christ, or yer g*d. I will take this song, and apply it to my practice- because regardless of my path, this song preaches what any practice should. Perhaps that was a lil cringy, so my b 🤪- in any case I'm still super glad many fellow members of the LGBTQ+ also find some sort of acceptance within this song!
If you do not know the context you can think that it was about a first human creation, I know that it was about Adam, just not the first at it make it ironic, oh how much I hate Victor
Apparently, this song is really popular regardless of being a Christian song. But I think that people are disregarding Christian theology to serve there own interpretation of the music. Which is unfortunate because it's all about the transition to perfection through Jesus. Not some fleshly/wordly identification of being.. Not that it's not all inclusive to the audience listening, it's just not about our personal identity as humans. It's still exclusive to the Abrahamic theology of creation perfected. Humans have sinned, Jesus saves us from death, the holy ghost sanctifies the repenter, but we are still in a fallen state awaiting Jesus to cast death and satan into hell....
Funny how you are so quick to disregard all the damage and indoctrination your religion and your institutions have caused on our societies throughout history. The religious institutions of this world are at the bottom of the pillar, theyre now nothing but a cult of deluded weak people who have lost touch with reality.
I don’t see this as a religious song. I hear this as myself talking to me and reminding me, I am only a creature on this earth and I try my hardest to be good but sometimes I am not and it’s okay
Why? The song talks about how we are imperfect beings in search of completing themselves, trusting their hope in a superior being that the song calls "The artist who shapes me", the song is not only for those who understand the references to the Bible, but for those who are looking for a way to feel whole and complete in their own way, trusting whatever they believe
@@dakotaohayo1082 I don't even know what You know about us, but I understand that people use the faith and the name of God in horrendous acts thru the history, so is undestandible

This song reminds me too much of Victor from Arcane
THANK GOD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE-

@@pakafanta3491 FRRR. Maybe its because of his desire to be reborn and push past his physical disabilities

I was looking for music for dnd playlist and found this.... I mean ... I'll take it
Amazing
This song kinda gives me Sirius Black vibes
I didn't even realize this was a religious song. However, I did find it through a Frankenstein animatic, so the connection made sense there.
Who else is here because of wolfythewitch
Me!
Have a nice day 😊)
For those who want the tik-tok sound 0:56
It's giving Xie Lian, specifically the Dianxia bit, but you know what else it's giving? Every confused feeling I've ever had as a non-cis non-het semi-Christian--
Saw an edit of Jayce and Viktor from Arcane to this song, which feels fitting since Viktor had a LOT of Jesus imagery this season
As a gay+trans Christian this song makes me sob in a good way. It connects with me as a Christian that no other Christian media has. It’s beautiful.
jesus is returning soon everyone
Religion is complicated for me right now, but I love this song :)
I am an atheist but I still love this song!1!1
Jesus Christ is so cool
Yeah Viktor from Arcane is 😂

Am I the only one that hears "hauntING by a darker side" every time??? I swear, I just can't hear "haunted" even if I stare at the word when that line is played.
I WILL SING THIS FOR THE LORD CHRIST AS A REMINDER OF HIS SACRIFICE SAVING ME
First maybe?
I think so because I'm late 2 month
I love this song, but i really hate it when people add different music on the end of lyric videos like this. I came here to listen to this song, not yours. It's really annoying.
Annunciate
This song is brilliant. I was deceived into thinking that I could worship God and his Creation but this is false and Jesus is the Only way. The Bible is in truth and I pray everyone receives the Love they need to open their hearts to Jesus. God gave us the ultimate sacrifice so that we could have a relationship with him Eternally. There is No greater gift. His Love continues to purify my heart. ❤
Viktor nation, how we feeling?
This song reminds me of William birkin from resident evil, ngl
Viktor Nation how we feeling
TVタレントの小林麻央が昨晩から明朝にかけてまた罪を犯したようです。つい2日前もこんな報告をしたんですが。全く自主する気が無いみたいですよ。
If you do not know the context you can think that it was about a first human creation, I know that it was about Adam, just not the first at it make it ironic, oh how much I hate Victor
It’s so sad that ppl take this beautiful Christian song into something so wrong and worldly and terrible. This world is terrible.
hello religious trauma gang
That's the beauty of music. It can be interpreted in so many ways but I personally think many people feel closer to God through this song
Me, normally: Christian music sucks.
My transmasc ass: 🎶 I AM CREATION BOTH HAUNTED AND HOLY 🎶
:)
this is the most non christian christan song ever lmao
No. It's the MOST Christian song ever. I doubt it gets played on Christian radio any more than U2 does. Too Christian.
Many people didnt get the song. Its not about god or jesus! Its about a fallen angel...thats beauty
I don’t see this as a religious song. I hear this as myself talking to me and reminding me, I am only a creature on this earth and I try my hardest to be good but sometimes I am not and it’s okay
Anyone one else thinking of Adam from hazbin hotel while listening to this
I hate how this song attracts so many Christians
Why? The song talks about how we are imperfect beings in search of completing themselves, trusting their hope in a superior being that the song calls "The artist who shapes me", the song is not only for those who understand the references to the Bible, but for those who are looking for a way to feel whole and complete in their own way, trusting whatever they believe
@@enzotoro791 I hate it because I'm a christophobe and also just generally antireligion after what you all did.
@@dakotaohayo1082 I don't even know what You know about us, but I understand that people use the faith and the name of God in horrendous acts thru the history, so is undestandible
that's not really surprising given that it's a christian song, that references a lot of the scriptures + jesus
genuine question why do you listen to christian music when you're christianophobe? i mean this is a good song but if you hate seeing christians one would think you'd hate hearing songs about it too
Get used to it, lol. We can't help being attracted to Christian music.
Faith is simply clutches of the weak and deluded
You don’t have to be Christian if that’s not right for you, but please respect that it’s right for some people.
Hey, we're the ones stealing the songs for our trans vibes and cosplay reels. It was theirs first. Be nice.
But admit it, you sang along with the chorus. . .someday everyone will sing along.
I'm so glad this Christian song is audible for everyone. I discovered there's so much more than what everyone thinks there is in faith, Christianity is about love, and lately I really needed to feel loved
You only think that cause you and the others were raised with these doctrines being drilled into your heads. There's no faith, no god, no order. All these things are just delusions of the mind
You are loved
@@grassblock7668 thank you! 8 months later the love of God almost completely cured that wound, I hope you know you're so loved too
