Amazing! The poor pullstart is never appreciated, often abused, relegated to the older experts, and hobao have gone to the trouble of refining both the pullstart and the COPS system so that beginners do not have to invest in a bump box with batteries, and no frictional losses associated with one way bearings, but for whatever reason, lack of marketing from Hobao or lack of preheating by beginners, COPS just got a bad name. Do your research people, COPS are TOPS!!
Positive. I’m watching this video again because I’m fixing another hobao pullstart. I got the spring in but can’t get the spool in. I noticed you bent the spring steel into position so you could fit the slot of the spool into the spring. In my experience cold bending spring steel leads to premature steel fatigue and that is where it’s going to snap and fail. To bend spring steel and reduce the chance of fatigue I guess you need to get it red hot over a candle and then bend it
If your spring came out or you broke the cord he just showed you how to fix it for free. It’s an amazing tutorial. There is no easier way than this where you can fix for free
Wow what a pain but after 3 attempts it’s now back work 💥
