Meaning of Khushu`
What is required of the worshipper is to show humility [khushu`] in his prayer and to have complete focus of mind, because Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Certainly will the believers have succeeded:
“They who are during their prayer humbly submissive [khashi‘un].” [al-Muminun 23:1-2]
Focusing on prayer and being humble therein are among the most important issues, and this is the essence of the prayer. Therefore we must pay attention to focusing with proper humility in the prayer and performing it in a tranquil and unhurried manner, when prostrating and bowing, between the two prostrations, and after bowing when standing up again; it should be done in a tranquil and unhurried manner.

رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْهِم صَبْراً وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَهُم وَٱنصُرْهُم عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
Rabbana afrigh ‘alayhim sabran wa thabbit aqdaamahum wansurhum ‘ala al-qawm al-kafireen
Our Lord! Shower them with perseverance, make their steps firm, and give them victory over the disbelieving people.🤲🏻
Allahumma Salli Ala Muhammadin Wa Ala Aali Muhammadin Kama Sallaeeta Ala Ibraheema Wa Ala Aali Ibraheema Innaka Hameedum Majeed
Allahumma Baarik Ala Muhammadin Wa Ala Aali Muhammadin Kama Baarakta Ala Ibraheema Wa Ala Aali Ibraheema Innaka Hameedum Majeed
O Allah! Send Your Mercy on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your Mercy on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praise-worthy, the Most Glorious.
O Allah! Send Your Blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent your Blessings on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praise-worthy, the Most Glorious❄️❤️✨️🤲🏻🪻🫒🍍🍒
And be steadfast in patience, for verily Allah will not suffer the reward of the righteous to perish." (11:115)

الهم صلى على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما صليت على ابراهيم وعلى ال ابراهيم انك حميد مجيد الهم برك على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما باركت آل ابراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد
Inna lillahi wa inallah-e-raji’oon (إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُون)Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return.”Al-Baqarah, 156)Imam Muslim narrates;
Hadhrat Salma stated that she heard Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, “a Muslim who recites inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun (إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُون) is never put into distress and Allah compensate him for the endured misery.” (Sahih Muslim)
Imam Qartbi related in his Tafseer when the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) lamp went out. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) uttered inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun in response. It was also inquired whether there was any kind of discomfort or affliction.✨️🕋✨️☝️🤲🏻❤️🌹🌷🪻
﷽❤️In the Quran, Surah Ibrahim there is a dua which was said by Prophet Ibrahim, may peace be upon him, which asks Allah to make him and his family among the best Muslims.
In this short dua Prophet Ibrahim asks of Allah for the following things:
Be among the Muslims who have the discpline to pray the five salats consistently.
Asks Allah to have children who would remember the importance of establishing prayer.
Asks for Allah’s forgiveness for himself.
Asks Allah to forgive his parents.
Asks Allah to forgive the entire Ummah.
So what exactly was this dua?
RABBIJ ALNI MUQEEMAS SALATI IN ARABIC
The dua is from Surah Ibrahim ayat 40-41. In arabic this is written,
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Transliteration: [ayah 40] Rabbij alni muqeemas salati wa min zurriyati Rabbana wa taqabbal du’a [41] Rabbanagh fir lee waliwalidayya wa lil mumineena Yawma yaqoomul hisaab
RABBI JALNI MUQIMAS SALATI MEANING:
The english translation of this dua is:
“My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.”
On the day account is established “Allah will recompense every soul for what it earned. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.” (14:51)
We would be wise to recite this dua every so often, it is a beautiful dua and asks Allah many things, the main focus being for good family. It wishes well for yourself, your children and your parents. It even goes to on to ask forgive the entire Muslim ummah.🦋✨️🤲🏻

HASBIYALLAHU LA ILAHA ILLA HU ALAYHI TAWAKKALTU DUA IN ARABIC
Here’s the dua from hadith of Sunan Abu Dawood 5081,
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Transliteration: HasbiyAllahu laa ilaaha illa huwa alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa Rabbul arshil adheem.
TRANSLATION OF THIS DUA:
The meaning of hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa hu alayhi tawakkaltu… is:
“Allah is sufficient for me. There is none worthy of worship but Him. I have placed my trust in Him. He is the Lord of the Majestic throne.🪶☝️✨️
﷽❤️Allahu laaa ilaaha illaa huwal haiyul qai-yoom; laa taakhuzuhoo sinatunw wa laa nawm; lahoo maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; man zallazee yashfa'u indahooo illaa be iznih; ya'lamu maa baina aideehim wa maa khalfahum; wa laa yuheetoona beshai 'immin 'ilmihee illa be maa shaaaa; wasi'a kursiyyuhus samaa waati wal arda wa la ya'ooduho hifzuhumaa; wa huwal aliyyul 'azeem
اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاواتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Allah! There is no god but He - the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor Sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there that can intercede in His presence except as he permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His throne doth extend over the heavens and on earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them, For He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).✨️🌼🍒🕊
Ya Muqallib al-quloob thabbit qalbi 'ala deenik يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ “O Controller of hearts, make my heart firm in Your religion.”✨️
मसा अल्लाह
﷽❤️“O Allah, help and protect the people of Palestine🇵🇸🌹 O Allah, ease their pain and suffering. O Allah help those who are in need. O Allah, fortify their hearts and calm them like you granted Yusuf’s heart peace in the well. O Allah, Bestower of Mercy, bestow Your mercy on them. O Allah, You are the Giver of victory, O Al-Fattah, You are the Opener of doors, please grant them freedom and victory.”🤲🏻✨️

Sunan Ibn Majah 3870🌿
It was narrated from Abu Salam, the servant of the Prophet (saas), that :
the Prophet (saas) said: "There is no Muslim - or no person, or slave (of Allah) - who says, in the morning and evening: 'Radaytu billahi Rabban wa bil-Islami dinan wa bi Muhammadin nabiyyan (I am content with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad as my Prophet),' but he will have a promise from Allah to make him pleased on the Day of Resurrection."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ سَابِقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلاَّمٍ، خَادِمِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ أَوْ إِنْسَانٍ أَوْ عَبْدٍ يَقُولُ حِينَ يُمْسِي وَحِينَ يُصْبِحُ رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا - إِلاَّ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .

Laa yukalliful-laahu nafsan illaa wus’ahaa; lahaa maa kasabat wa ‘alaihaa maktasabat; Rabbanaa laa tu’aakhiznaaa in naseenaaa aw akhtaanaa; Rabbanaa wa laa tahmil-‘alainaaa isran kamaa hamaltahoo ‘alal-lazeena min qablinaa; Rabbanaa wa laa tuhammilnaa maa laa taaqata lanaa bih; wa’fu ‘annaa waghfir lanaa warhamnaa; Anta mawlaanaa fansurnaa ‘alal qawmil kaafireen
آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ ۚ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ(۲۸۵) لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ ۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وقفہ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وقفہ وَارْحَمْنَا وقفہ ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Verse 285: “The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination.”
Verse 286: “Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.”🌟🌟🌟

﷽❤️وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّـهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مَخْرَجًا ﴿٢﴾ وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّـهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ ۚ
“And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out, And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him,” (Surat at-Talaq portion of verses 2-3).

Then those who believe in Allah, and hold fast to Him,- soon will He admit them to mercy and grace from Himself, and guide them to Himself by a straight way.

Anas bin Malik said:
“Whenever a matter would distress him, the Prophet (ﷺ) would say: ‘O Living, O Self-Sustaining Sustainer! In Your Mercy do I seek relief (Yā Ḥayyu yā Qayyūm, bi-raḥmatika astaghīth).’” And with this chain, that he said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Be constant with: “O Possessor of Majesty and Honor (Yā Dhal-Jalāli wal-Ikrām).’”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْمُكْتِبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَدْرٍ، شُجَاعُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنِ الرُّحَيْلِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، أَخِي زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الرَّقَاشِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا كَرَبَهُ أَمْرٌ قَالَ " يَا حَىُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ " . وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَلِظُّوا بِيَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
