I have vitiligo as well and I love to see others with it too. Mine started at 25 as a little white dot in the corner of my eye. It spread over one eye and the corner of my lip over the span of a year and a half. It's been 5 years and It hasn't spread anymore it's actually diminished by about half the size it was. I get it from my grandfather on my mom's side. He's extremely dark skin and has patches all over his body so the contrast between the two colors are dramatic on him but I think it's dope. Sometimes when I do a beat face I'll leave it uncovered and honey it is everythingggggg omg. Such a confidence boost and men love it btw!!!! Lol it looks beautiful on you.

I’ve had vitiligo since i was 5 and I’m 28 now and I’m almost completely covered. Such a rough journey as a child and even in my adult years i struggle because of the trauma I’ve experienced. But in 2022, it seems to be something people are more respectful and genuinely intrigued about. But thank you for being transparent about it, because representation is sooo important, you’re really doing something beautiful not only for yourself but the confidence of others with vitiligo. So from me, thank you!

Yu can be born with it but sometimes people get it later in life more often times then not

@@TatyanaWstco I thought it was a beautiful birth mark. I had a friend born with a birth mark like this. It was on the side of her face by her hair line and where it touches her hair line, blond hair grows. She’s your complexion too.

I know in cases like this people just want to be nice or say something positive but you are so beautiful with it. You kinda got blessed because of the pattern. When I first clicked on the video my first thought was how pretty you looked. 😍 Also, I understand you have to get the bag with your hair videos but I do miss your more chatting videos of you just showing your personality and sharing stories.

First off…thank you so much for sharing your story AND sharing your makeup routine with having vitiligo. Now, I do have to disagree with you when you said if your going to have vitiligo then you’ll get it before 30 years of age. That actually isn’t true for a lot of us. I know a lot of people who are getting it after 40 and beyond…some even after 60 years of age. I have found out (after having gone to 3 dermatologist), that doctors don’t really know anything about vitiligo…which is really sad. Your vitiligo is GORGEOUS! Don’t let anyone tell you anything different. My started on my eyelids, and then worked it’s way to other parts of my face. I’m like WHY START ON MY FACE😒! It is what it is. I’ve had mine for less than 2 years, and it’s ever changing.

P.s. I definitely agree about the tape ins and why you’ll rather deal with the professionals because I tried to wash my hair with tape ins but once that conditioner went in my head it was over with. I enjoyed the idea so I’ll be going for microlinks next or a micro link, tape in hybrid type of style.

I had vitiligo in high school. Came out no where. Started on my legs and then my back and stomach. Went away when I was like 18 or 19

I loveeee the one size powder! I use it with a powder puff (Amazon) and it sets my under eyes/carved out bronzer perfect. Agree that too much makes it too dry. I set on top of that tho either with my Mac or fenty powder and it’s flawless all day. Loveeee your haircut too btw!!

I’ve had vitiligo since I was 12 years old. Its literally a random completely. Please please please dont do the light treatment my friend did it and it enraged her vitiligo! Im sorry this happened to you! You are still beautiful.
My hair turns white like gray due to my spots in my hair.

Thanks for sharing! I did the treatment already. One thing I can say is its not spreading anymore.. I don't believe i'm going back though. I have gray/white hair also in certain spots on my face + head.

I got my first spot at 4 years old. I got a spot on my left knee. Crazy it stayed that way and didn’t spread until I was pregnant with my first child. I started to get it in the back of my thigh and a couple more spots on my lower leg around my shin and I got some spots on my vagina 😭 that was the hardest part for me to accept. I was 19/20 when that happened. I’m now 33 and it hasn’t spread since. All my life I’ve been waiting for it to cover my entire body/face. It stayed for the most part on my left leg.

Just like freckles, I like vitiligo as I feel it just makes you stand out. Hopefully it doesn’t cause sensitivity on the face, as you’re so cute with it! With or without, you working it always. It literally doesn’t take a thing away from THE BEAUTY ✨

How was the sun treatments for your mom? I went for my first 5 treatments a couple of months ago…& it was cool. I’m not sure if I’d go back though! But thank you for sharing ❤️

Omg I understand where you coming from when you said you don’t know where it came from … I’m 15 and my is so bad I had got it when I was 11 and since then it has been hard for me to get used to it there’s times where I would love it and there’s time where I would be like why I had to get it but overall a I can say now I’m happy with it .. but I’m also trying to learn how to do make so I can cover it up sometimes

So my little brother got it at 26 too. It’s all over his body now and still showing up in places. But his twin didn’t get it. He’s actually embracing it now and is going back and forth to NY to pursue modeling!
