Your window being open only an inch or two does not impede your ability to communicate with the officer at all. Vlad needs to shut up trying to compare his traffic stops to this situation. As much as he wants to, he will never understand or experience it from our side. I've seen videos with plenty of white men doing EXACTLY what Tyreek Hill did and they didn't get snatched out the car and manhandled on the ground. He needs to just admit that some things he won't understand.

The cop already had his ID. He was holding his license when he [unlawfully] ordered him to roll the window down.
First of all, telling him to roll down his window is not an unlawful command. Second of all, when the officer told Tyreek the first time to roll it down and knocked on it before he eventually rolled it down, he told him to keep it down after Tyreek rolled it up again.
@@manny.3248 he has the license, he has the right to briefly detain him while he writes a traffic ticket. Rolling down the window to satisfy the officer’s ego is not a lawful order. We have a first amendment right to hurt people’s feelings, he could’ve said a lot more and it wouldn’t have justified the use of force. Let me guess- your dad’s a cop?
@@treedillinger5801 You really shouldn't assume. First of all, when my dad was alive, he had multiple jobs before he had a stroke, and being a cop wasn't one of them. Second of all, I used to run the streets, get money, and get grimey by ganking cats for their trees (weight, not bags). I spent almost 10 years in 4 prisons. I have been pulled over in cars and on the streets and have been arrested during 3 or so of them. One of them was when my cousin's friend had a piece on him in the car after the police received a tip, which is another story. Not one of those times have ever not listened to the police including when they ran up on the car after that tip. Besides not wanting to get into it with the police while going back and forth with them, I didn't have the luxury of not listening to the police most of the time. I either had warrants, was on parole, or was dirty.
Trying to use that first amendment excuse isn't going to work. It was a lawful command. Failing to comply with a lawful order is a crime, even though it can be a misdemeanor. The laws also vary from state to state regarding rolling down a window during a traffic stop. I'm from one where drivers are legally required to roll it down partially.
Furthermore, I'm not trying to catch any new charges. The police have a habit of dishing our non compliance charges and resisting arrest ones when it's not even warranted. Any person who wants to escalate their own situation shouldn't cry about it when they get arrested or yanked like with what happened to Tyreek Hill. If they want to cry about it, go ahead. But they aren't getting any sympathy from me. I reserve my sympathy for people like Tyrese Nicholas, who was listening or people who have exceptional character.

I think we can agree that it’s not a good idea to dare them to escalate it. You also have to realize that the situations you described: when you know you’re guilty of something bigger, is very different than when you’ve done nothing wrong, or nothing worse than speeding. But I think we can agree again: it’s best to act the same way regardless, calm, respectful etc. Where you won’t get me to agree is when you say “hiding behind” the first amendment. It’s our right, nobody’s hiding.
