I always wondered how the baby was born. That’s really cool. I remember people got all worked up. Kids don’t think about that.😂❤️ Love the face sculpts! Gorgeous 🥰
I would recommend you do a review of the doll “dial a doctor baby.” It came with a baby doll and telephone that you could call a doctor with and then help cure the doll. No one else has done a review of it. Great video btw!
I remember the controversy over pregnant Barbie because she didn't come with ken and she was "modeling and normalizing having children out of wedlock" or some bullshit.
I read about that too when I was researching this doll...they also said it would encourage teenage pregnancies....like what???? This doll is wearing a wedding band LOL!
I really like them they remind me of a doll I had as a kid she was a fashion size doll that was pregnant with twins, she had a push in belly on a spring and clip on bump, I never really thought about the body image issue as a kid she was just one of my favourites to play with.
That's so cool! I never thought about body image either until I got to college. Even then as a general rule I've been pretty confident with myself, but I do feel bad for young girls who associate a certain body type with how they feel like they should be, but never in my life did a doll make me think about my own body. Thanks for watching 💜
Oh my goodness, could you imagine parents today if a doll like that was being sold these days? Lol. I never had one of those didn't even know it existed. I was in 80s kid. I was born in 87 so I guess you could say 80s 90s. Lol.
This was controversial? I think it's cool. The doll kind of shows the process of having a baby without going into too much unnecessary detail about it.
Yes, isn't that weird? One thing I read said people were worried it would promote teenage pregnancies of all things. My parents and grandparents were certainly not worried about it and just let me have the doll with no problem. From an article I read, it said that girls weren't interested so much in the actual birthing process, and that's why they made it the way they did, exactly how you said it. Thanks for watching 💜
Oh my stars! Laughing out loud over here!👈🏾 That's the problem with New In Box dolls...on the one hand: you get a complete doll with all the extras...on the other hand: WORMS! Lol 🌟
Love the review, why dont you you do a review on Mattel Telephone Tammy ,she was a talking doll that you could have conversations with on the phone. Not only that, but the cool thing about her is that she would move her arm, mouth an head at the same time as she was talking .Do a review on her please.
Ah! yes this one was a big spectacle in the toyshop some wanted it some where just curious how the baby came out lol. it was a bit talking point. There was a Barbie size one too. Thanks for the memories again x
When I was researching the doll, I found an article that said little girls weren't actually interested in the act of birth but just having the baby, and that's how they decided to put it in the dress like that. According to the article, this was the most research that went into making a doll up until that point. Thank you for watching 💜
@@MunecasPoupeesDolls Oh yes, I remember the parents were more interested about the birthing, the kids actually weren't that interested in all that. I think it was a cute doll anyhow. I wish I still had them all. I did use to buy them and put them all away but sold them all years ago. :(
I just got just the doll of the Black version off Mercari for cheap. I want to get her rerooted or do it myself because it had so much cut off I had to cut the length just to shape it right. She is a beautiful doll. She doesn’t have her baby or the dress or anything else.

Thank you 💜
This was one of my favorite dolls when I was younger! 💕
She is so much fun, she was one of my faves too 💜 thanks for watching 🥰
One of my favorites for sure. Great memories.

Ooooo I'll see if I can find one 😍
@@MunecasPoupeesDolls thank you so much, I am loving your videos! I can tell you put a lot of effort in them.
I had this doll and loved it so much. I also was told it was not appropriate to bring to show and tell at my kindergarten.
Oh wow!
My aunt had one of these dolls I was so fascinated by her as a kid!
They're really cool 😍

I was born 82...it was a big problem for most parents... unfortunately I did not have this doll I think my god sis had one..

And the baby's are so cute ❤️
They really are adorable 😍
This is a totally random question, but do you have any our generation, a girl for all time, and pullip doll? I'd love to see a review from you :))
I have an OG, but I don't have a Pullip or a Girl for all Time unfortunately. Maybe one day!
It’s baby Marnie from Halloweentown
In the commercial
Cool!
From which year are they exactly?
92-93. Box says 92 but I think they came into the market in 93.
@@MunecasPoupeesDolls Thank you. I imagined it but I wasn't sure.
