I had such a good laugh at the end, Ryan is so funny. You make a good couple. I knew it when you were looking at the lace and he just went umm that he wasn’t keen then laughed at what he said in the car. I loved that pink doorway all the pretty flowers surrounding it. I love when you take us somewhere on a Friyay. Menton looked lovely. I almost jumped into the screen when I saw the Cheese Stall- D.I.V.I.N.E. The plants in the pots were my vibe. I would have gone home much poorer from as trip to Menton! There is something about French Architecture that makes me so happy.

Magnifique, congratulations on a beautiful vlog, stunning village. Saw this town on LEAW Channel and checked out it was very close to where you guys live. Can’t wait until you take Seth and Nancy so we can see more of that place. Loved seeing the gorgeous food hall. That was beautiful, haven’t been to Menton for years. And you pronounced Menton perfectly! Next time you absolutely must just cross over the border to Italy, and visit the supermarket called Konad, not far on the left where you’ll find all sorts of Italian products packed in there at brilliant prices (plenty of parking). Lots of people in Menton don’t even speak French, and the town was Italian until comparatively recently (around 1860 I think). Glad you enjoyed your day, think I’ll go back soon🥰

Thank you to both of you. Menton looks picturesque and definitely worth visiting. I live near Berlin and seeing that Blue sky, ocean and delicious food was delightful. When I first heard the Saxophone 🎷 player I was loving it. Thanks for the explanation. He definitely deserved the applause and a bit of money for his Playing such good music. When I travel to Venice I love the ambiance that it gives of seeing the washing hanging out of the windows.

Hi Fern and Ryan, thank you for another lovely vlog. Menton looked just beautiful and glad you had such a lovely day. Fern loved your shopping, though I have an allergy to the cheese, it still looked beautiful. Almost another week closer to France, Melbourne has now achieved a world record of being in the longest hard lock down of 236 days in the world and it does not look like its going to be ending any time soon. Spring is here and the weather is warming up so that something to be grateful for, best wishes cheers Kim

thank you Zeldafor the lovely kind words. Melbourne is in the grip of its darkest days. I absolutely love FERN, Ryan and family. I appreciate that they keep it so very real. I would love to meet them one day when I can finally return home to France. It's such a pleasure watching Fern getting on being a wife mum and watching the glow as she goes about her everyday life. A fabulous Fri yay! I loved it. I was sure when Ryan went into the shop he was going going to get the tarte tropiezienne and he got an ice ice cream!! 🤣 Menton def looked like somewhere I could spend time. You both cracked me up at the end, I was laughing away to myself and forgot I was watching you while on a train, (headphones on in my own little world) looked up and everyone was laughing at me 🤣🙈! It's very hard NOT to smash the like button, when YOU are in the vlog, guys!!!!🥰 I was a bit late watching this one, Fern, Ralph was sick these two last days, high fever and sore throat, the season is full on in Ireland! They are not wearing masks in school, all windows and doors wide open in school...no wonder there are 10 kids sick in his class! But thos morning got a break ( Fri-Yay 😂) for me and got the chance to watch it! But I absolutely loved it, made me smile a lot!! And I loved your gesture with the street performer!!!! Bonjour from Western Canada. It is the first day of Autumn and I would love to be there with you on the French Riviera where it is still sunny and warm. And would absolutely love to browse with you in the food hall. Stopped in Menton about 5 years ago, enroute to Italy. Saw where we parked on the street and

Bonjour, thank you it was relaxing I needed that. Wonderful to see the couple that you are madly in love 💖💖!& Thanks for catching up on my lengthy comments last vlog. It's harvest here. A friend gave me a nice big box of green tomatoes. Also lots of beans to pickle & zucchinis to deal with. They're lovely cut an inch thick and painted with olive oil and sparingly seasoned with a mix of herbs you fancy.(garlic & onion powders,thyme is nice.dill leaves not dill seed. I make doubled tin foil parcels of cut up potatoes with rosemary and salt and pepper and butter or oil. Turn them more than once on the barbie, has not to burn. Usually takes 15 to 20 minutes. I haven't tried Rosemary chopped finely on olive oiled eggplant but my guess it would be yum. I guess the guy could do it with tin foil too when you think about it.There are so many possibilities. It's fun to experiment with it.) Eggplant is really good that way too. Flip them like you might steak. I need all the other ingredients for the mincemeat so busy doing all the canning stuff. You are preparing for Nancy's birthday bash I would imagine. She's so cute about it. She did rubber lips like Ryan in the last vlog I noticed! So hilarious. Your lace runners are lovely. I hope I have something to add in a couple of days. Birthday wishes! Thanks for responding today in the last vlog. You surely needn't to apologize Fern.!! I have such compassion for that Antonio Coppola situation. It is a place no one ever wants to find. The number of people working on the case is key. I hope it's lots. Splashing his face all over the place is also key. Things can go sideways so quickly. I very much admire the way you are both investing time and happiness with your children!!

Hi neighbours, I actually do my shopping at the same ALDI as you Fern, I then go to Grand Frais for my veg and fruit. Love Carrefour and Auchun. Its been a long time since I last went to Menton, I really enjoyed your day out, thanks guys. I live close to Valbonne village and we used to live in Cannes, so we are close by. How very brave of you to come hère not speaking the language, I think you are either crazy or incredible, best of luck to you both! Mxx
