Partial answer might be the fact that most of Asian food in Thailand is prepared fresh before your eyes. Down side is that more and more street food vendors (plus many low end Asian restaurants use spurious cooking oil) are using low end cooking oils which includes palm oil, a relatively new addition to the retail market for cooking oils. The oil extracted from palm nuts must be fractionated to be usable for human food consumption. The more the oil is fractionated the better for human consumption but the vast majority of this oil commercially available in markets is only fractionated enough to make it viable for human consumption. Extensive use of this basic cooking oil is contributing to health issues among low end consumers.
This looks so delicious but when I order it, it doesn’t look like that because this recipe is gone 😢 I don’t know what is OK but to me as a picky eater I need to have the perfect look and the perfect taste. If it’s look weird now I don’t wanna eat it. It look delicious. I will even if it not. 😅
It is interesting to see the name SRIRACHA in the promotion add for this chicken product. Sriracha is a specific reference to a flavor long since directly related to a small coastal city on the gulf coast north of Pattaya. Sauce Sriracha has long been known as a unique flavor condiment first distributed by a relatively obscure Thai food condiment company in the city of Sriracha north of Pattaya. To their misfortune the owners of the Thai company did not register their product internationally. Interesting how the name of a rather obscure Thai condiment has now evolved to the international food market. Clearly no reference to the founding or the fact that it is a THAI condiment of long repute.
@@scumbagpsycho4822 Why a major international company like KFC is using the word SRIRACHA in its product base is an entire mystery. First major use of the word SRIRACHA in a food product outside of Thailand was by a Vietnamese sauce producer several years ago. Pure and simply the name SRIRACHA was barely known outside of Thailand. Since that time to my personal surprise the word/name SRIRACHA has started cropping up in the promotion of other food products internationally. I would venture to guess that 100% of people outside of SEAsia would have no idea what the word/name means. It does not have a Chinese ring to the ear so the food promotions using the word are not not doing so to promote a strong fiery taste. A mystery which has not relevant answer!
@@scumbagpsycho4822 Not exclusively to the preparation of Chinese food. The products are widely available in Europe and north America. To the vast vast majority of the consumers of this product have absolutely no sense that it is spicy.
Happy to see Thailand’s sauce brand “ศรีราชา” Being sold in Singapore. Sriracha is district name in Chonburi, Thailand (Same province as Pattaya) In fact, Pattaya is not a province.

Wait so are you trying to say that they're promoting a Thai related item for a Chinese video and calling it Chinese?
