Issue is you sacrifice your pc's safety for it. Kernel level access is a double edged sword and the Crowdstrike incident is an example of what could go wrong.
I play CS and Valo both. Now some CS players will criticize Valo for their own reasons. But there are things that Valo does way better than CS. It introduced 128tick right from the beginning. No 64, no subtick bs. Nobody is complaining that 128tick consumes resources and all that BS. Valo has the best anticheat among all games. If Valve develops an anticheat even half of what Vanguard is, it'd be great. Since 2021, I've encountered only 4 blatant hackers in Valo. In CS, I encounter almost every 1 in 5 matches. Hitreg of Valo is way better than CS2. Action and animation are synced. These all make a game playable. CS2 should take a few points from Valo on how to make a game playable.

Yeah iBP "only" had a matchfixing incident where they bet a ton of skins against themselves and threw the match. Pretty sure people here are mixing them up with other csgo pros who used actual cheats (there have been quite a view).

I had to quit playing with my 5 stack in R6 because one of them started using an aim assist cheat. I personally reported him and nothing ever happened so I just don't play that game anymore. I don't miss it.

Alot of the "cheating" vids with wall hacks and stuff arent even using cheats, they just go into a video editor with some normal gameplay footage and edit it to look like they have hacks by drawing fake playermodels behind walls

ibuypower ripped me off bad when I first got my computer a few years ago. when the 2070 2080 supers came out. I bought a custom pc from them with a 2070super paid for express shipping and all. But when i got the pc it wasnt a 2070 super it was just a normal 2070. the manager calls me as I'm getting the computer and asked if I already realized that it wasn't a super and that if I wanted to send it back they would put what iIasked for in it. Sooo I sent it back not knowing that they didn't pay for express shipping so then I had to wait a whole extra month to get the pc I paid for in full. On top of that when I got it back I didnt get my power cord back. . . So I called them which was actually 1 guy who was very rude said well you wern't suppposed to send ithe cord to but we will replace it. All and all yes I got my computer with the 2070 super. But it took an extra 2 months atleast plus they were very rude. I would never buy an ibuypower pc again just go to pc part picker or something and build it yourself.

Cheating isn't about having fun (not for the sellers at least), the users however do have fun with it by ruining others fun like the losers they are.
Maybe the cheating content is made in custom lobbies to avoid bans, which is why it's so rampant but still not really apparent in ranked or unrated
