To go deeper, the manipulation of atoms and molecules is more complex in that the user will need a general understanding of the structure of matter whereas reality warping just goes off one's imagination... generally speaking that is. I added this because some reality warpers... most actually, they need an already existing reality to manipulate (basically a canvas). This was shown with Mad Jim Jaspers....as one of the only known flaws to his powers.

9:36 It’s i think i told you this before. Though MM is painting on a blank canvas on an easel with any paint you want but you’re only allowed to paint on the default canvas. With reality warping you can paint anything anywhere regardless of a canvas with anything you wish it doesn’t even have to be paint you just make whatever you see
Mystique's been retconned to copy to the genetic level. Not sure if they're giving her ability copy yet(because x-gene), but she had a baby, nightcrawler, by turning into his pre-retconned father, Azazel. So she didn't just look like him, she was an actual male that was able to impregnate.
She took the "traits" of both Azazel and Christen Wagner and made Irene pregnant so all them are Kurt's parents. I doubt that she can't be like Copycat or Synch or Morph.
SO I see the difference in matter manipulation and reality warping being that one uses existing matter to make something and someone being able to just out right create matter out of Energy.
Personally I'd say that the difference between matter manipulation and reality manipulation goes something like this: Someone transforms a suitcase into a pizza by manipulating matter. Then comes another and makes the pizza back into a suitcase and says that the suitcase will always be a suitcase by deciding that that is that object's reality. Now no one who controls matter can change that suitcase into anything else because that is the set reality of it. That's my view of the two power sets.
For starter's Gambit has always been Alpha level in the comics. In his backstory he was originally Omega level but got a procedure done to reduce his level as he could nkt control himself. The standard version of Gambit has ALWAYS been Alpha.
I swear Rob underestimates Legion 😅🤦🏾♂️….it’s like he doesn’t really understand his power. Rob thinks Legion’s power if making personalities, but that’s not his power. He’s just so powerful and has a DID that when he gives himself a power a personality is made. Legion’s power is to give himself powers…that’s it. If he transcended you’d never hear anything about personalities again. He’d have all of his powers as he pleases. He already has universal/multiversal feats. And even statements about being the most powerful being to exist. Legion is 100% what it means to be beyond omega level. He can give himself ANY power at the omega level if he wanted to. And Legion can also create and destroy universes, as stated by the Progenitor celestial. So no Franklin is not the only universal reality warper. Legion’s power go so much further than most people know. Even stuff that I didn’t state. Stuff like being able to create exact personalities of people. Or being able to pull things from ALL of reality into the his mind. The Altar(a pocket dimension that legion made in his mind) was stated to be a pocket dimension that Legion made by pulling things from reality into his mind. As long as it exist in the MU he can pull it in, and it’s not limited to the 616. We saw that when Legion pulled Nate Grey into him mind and placed him in the AoA. The reason that’s crazy is because Legion has never been to the AoA universe, he didn’t even exist in it.
‘Getting her back blown out.’ I honestly enjoy listening your comic narration but sometimes you seem like frustrated 14 year old struggling through puberty…..
9:43 hey rob, the difference between matter manipulation(MM) and reality warping (RW) is actually pretty big With matter manipulation you're changing the clay of the universe but unless you have the ability to create matter your stuck with what you have, you can't make a magnet for example unless you have something that can be magnetic or you can't make a human without carbon etc Reality warping is different in that your outright changing or going against the laws of physics by some manner or means whether it's by using another universes differing physics or changing our own native ones, like say changing it so a glass cup can become a duck for just a second in a specific location So yeah RW is way way above MM because it's effecting what's possible while MM is just shaping what is, a Reality Warper like Franklin Richards is basically lucid dreaming reality around him lol Hope that helped
I wish more mutants had powers that were too much for them more of Elton like Gambit. Mutations should occasionally backfire & there should be more instances of people getting hurt at random. The med bay at the Xavier School should be packed.
9:02, idk if ur referring to just the comics but cross-multiverse telepathy has been done before, by wanda maximoff and doctor strange i think, in the multiverse of madness.
Hi Rob! Question about Gabriel Summers: what is the extent of his powers? Controlling energy to me would also be able to control matter itself since particles themselves are energy and energetic, and increasing or decreasing their energy as far as I'm aware was never defined for him as being unable to alter their kinetic energy, which would move them. So can he alter the kinetic energy of matter, aka move them similarly to a telekinetic?
I think the difference between matter manipulation and reality manipulation is that someone that can manipulate reality can break laws of nature. Like energy not being able to be created or destroyed, whereas matter manipulation is just manipulation what is present already.
My headcanon about Omega Level & Beyond Omega Level is how actively they use their Powers A Beyond Omega Level uses his Powers without Limits all the time but an Omega Level doesn't (maybe because they aren't accustomed to it or maybe because they don't think what their Powers not having Limits does actually mean)
A good way to explain matter manipulation vs reality manipulation. Matter manipulation and atomic level telekinesis can only change matter at an atomic level as it is NOW at this moment at this specific time moving forward. Reality manipulation changes reality or the way things are as a whole, so an object when its reality is manipulated will have always been what it was manipulated to. A person disintegrated with telekinesis at an atomic level or matter manipulation level would have essentially died at that point in time. Someone who by reality manipulation stops existing didn't die, they never were created to begin with.
Legion powers should of been like Peter Petrelli. He gets his powers from every mutant he comes in contact with but (the twist) in order to mentally sustain these powers his mind creates a personality for each power he gains.
@@blacklightingrdl No but I mean I never did just like the concept of him just have random powers with no real explanation. I mean Peter needed physical touch to gain someone powers. If we go that route then he wouldn’t know he had the power until it manifested. So he may not know where or who he got the power from. Some random person he bumped into on the street who didn’t even know they had powers. So him meeting that person may not have any effect
There is a difference between a matter manipulator and an reality warper even though both are beyond omega level, a matter manipulator can move the already existing matter in the universe depending on the scale of their level but a reality warper can also create and destroy matter out of nothing and also change the "law of nature" to what ever they which.
Rob , when is marvel going to Hire you to consult for them?? Long overdue . Your explanations are fantastic and the way to connect stories , and personalities of those stories is the best out there . Keep crushing it . Thank you… the in-humans suck4Life🤘🏼
If Gambit met Xavier before Nathaniel, he would be an omega level xaver. Would have taught him how to control his powers. Instead, he's an alpha, but Gambit as an omega level. He will be too powerful beyond because of what he possesses. You actually made me feel bad for Gambit. Who is my favorite x men? But it can get any woman he wants with his hypnotic charm. Which is another office mutant powers. I don't know how many people know that.
Omega is a term thats lost all meaning now. Half the mutants in the comics are 'omega' now. It used to mean something then slowly we had more and more of them, and now they just retcon past mutants into being Omega level. Jean Magneto Storm Iceman Exodus Stryfe Nate Grey Vu;lcan Franklin Richards Rachel Summers David Richards Kid Omega And the list just goes on and on. Omega basically means nothing now.
Naw that's not true. Because they're are far more mutants who are alpha and beta level than there is Omega. Take Wolverine, Sabertooth, Strong Guy, Archangel, Beast, Dazzler, Black Tom, Banshee, Havok, Cyclops, Toad, Armour, and the list goes on to the point where Omega is still in the smaller minority. But it seems different because of the popularity of some of them. Wolverine is almost as well known as Spiderman, and that's international..and he's definitely not Omega level.
@@StephenLeGresley It cheapens it for you & I get that. However, the list is still rather small in comparison to the others & I personally think it's good thing a few have been added in.
@@StephenLeGresley But it doesn't. It only does so if the amount of Omegas is greater than the majority of those who aren't Omegas. And it's proven that most mutants, even popular ones aren't Omegas. There are only 25 Omega level mutants. Out of the entirety of the mutant population, 25. Even if you scale it down to a few hundred mutants, 25 is only a fraction of the population.
For me; matter manipulation lets you change things within the parameters of our physical laws, and reality manipulation allows for the changing of the laws that define physical spaces.

W video, W lead into a playlist. Love the idea, love the method and love the ask being at the end. W video
Never saw a Rob video this soon before. Just want to say love the channel and 97 is spectacular so far
😂😂 Sheesh..Poor Gambit!
🤣🤣
OH YEAH! love all your explanations....haha poor Gambit.
Exodus is An Omega Level Telekinetic, of the HIGHEST ORDER! Shout out to Exodus
I’ve been a longtime fan. Never asked for a specific video but WE NEED THE CROW FULL STORY
I like she like a method of third parent thing.
The gambit shade is crazy 😂
SO I see the difference in matter manipulation and reality warping being that one uses existing matter to make something and someone being able to just out right create matter out of Energy.
Personally I'd say that the difference between matter manipulation and reality manipulation goes something like this:
Someone transforms a suitcase into a pizza by manipulating matter.
Rob, why you gotta do my man Gambit like that??!! 😂
Omega Level Threat Detected!
I threw my phone across the room at "Gettin' her back blown out" 😂
The term "No glove, no love", does not apply to Magento. He knocked the bottom out.
‘Getting her back blown out.’ I honestly enjoy listening your comic narration but sometimes you seem like frustrated 14 year old struggling through puberty…..
Moleman is a mutant? That’s my first time hearing this.
bring the beyond omega level and omega level series BACK (i first subbed when that started lol)
🤣 not Magneto blowing her back out! You wrong for that Rob 😂 Gambit wasn’t feeling Magneto the rest of the episode
I've always liked that there were some mutants who didn't have an upper limit to their powers. It's a great storytelling device.
It's foul what they did to my boy Gambit 💀💀💀💀
WE ALREADY KNOW THIS. In fact, Al Ewing confirmed in Immortal Thor that Storm can actually control weather patterns across our solar system!
You screaming over an explanation video in regard to a tv show?
You forget your meds?
It's so ironic that when Rogue met Magneto she said, "You just can't get close to some men."
9:43 hey rob, the difference between matter manipulation(MM) and reality warping (RW) is actually pretty big
With matter manipulation you're changing the clay of the universe but unless you have the ability to create matter your stuck with what you have, you can't make a magnet for example unless you have something that can be magnetic or you can't make a human without carbon etc
Reality warping is different in that your outright changing or going against the laws of physics by some manner or means whether it's by using another universes differing physics or changing our own native ones, like say changing it so a glass cup can become a duck for just a second in a specific location
So yeah RW is way way above MM because it's effecting what's possible while MM is just shaping what is, a Reality Warper like Franklin Richards is basically lucid dreaming reality around him lol
Hope that helped
That Gambit dig was great! lol
Literally just in time for my lunch break. What a guy.
Rouge getting her back blown out by Magneto is crazy 🤣 Damn Rob
How do you feel about Gambit now? That's his name, Remember it 😂
I wish more mutants had powers that were too much for them more of Elton like Gambit. Mutations should occasionally backfire & there should be more instances of people getting hurt at random. The med bay at the Xavier School should be packed.
And I'm surprised you didn't mention Nate Grey and Rachel Summers after you mentioned Vulcan
9:02, idk if ur referring to just the comics but cross-multiverse telepathy has been done before, by wanda maximoff and doctor strange i think, in the multiverse of madness.
Rob what's up brother!!! Damn I miss comics and coffee 😢
Duuuude, why you gotta say that about our boy Gambit…🤣🤣🤣
Omg the shade thrown to Gambit! Lmao!
Of course Storm is Omega level. She’s a beast!
Top 20 most powerful DC characters hierarchy please.
Shes probably most powerful because she's worthy of thors hammer , Odin made her her own hammer, should be able to take galactic or Phoenix with it
"Mah back is all blowed out sugah."
I’ve been watching you for years professor and for years now you always mention mad Jim jaspers lol
My headcanon about Omega Level & Beyond Omega Level is how actively they use their Powers
A Beyond Omega Level uses his Powers without Limits all the time
but
an Omega Level doesn't (maybe because they aren't accustomed to it or maybe because they don't think what their Powers not having Limits does actually mean)
Interesting , have you considered being a writer?
What would happen if the mental personality meet the real one?🔥🔥🔥
@@blacklightingrdl No but I mean I never did just like the concept of him just have random powers with no real explanation. I mean Peter needed physical touch to gain someone powers. If we go that route then he wouldn’t know he had the power until it manifested. So he may not know where or who he got the power from. Some random person he bumped into on the street who didn’t even know they had powers. So him meeting that person may not have any effect
Niice keep it up Rob! Love it!
There is a difference between a matter manipulator and an reality warper even though both are beyond omega level, a matter manipulator can move the already existing matter in the universe depending on the scale of their level but a reality warper can also create and destroy matter out of nothing and also change the "law of nature" to what ever they which.
Rob , when is marvel going to
Hire you to consult for them?? Long overdue . Your explanations are fantastic and the way to connect stories , and personalities of those stories is the best out there . Keep crushing it . Thank you…
the in-humans suck4Life🤘🏼
If Gambit met Xavier before Nathaniel, he would be an omega level xaver.
Don't tell me they tryna give my boy Gambit the Cyclops treatment
Damn Rob, now Gambit?! You gotta draw the line at Captain America. Stop trying to slip him in on the easy tip
Omega is a term thats lost all meaning now. Half the mutants in the comics are 'omega' now. It used to mean something then slowly we had more and more of them, and now they just retcon past mutants into being Omega level.
Jean
Magneto
Storm
Iceman
Exodus
Stryfe
Nate Grey
Vu;lcan
Franklin Richards
Rachel Summers
David Richards
Kid Omega
And the list just goes on and on.
@@jus-7421 I never said all of them were Omega's but the amount that are is insane. It's cheapens the idea of Omegas.
@@melaninenriched7844 More than a few, It's basically turning X-Men into Dragonball
For me; matter manipulation lets you change things within the parameters of our physical laws, and reality manipulation allows for the changing of the laws that define physical spaces.
