I don't know what happened to her but you can hear the pain in her voice and see it in her eyes. Beyond that I'm really enjoying her role in "Birth of Beauty". I think she is perfect for that role.
Really don't know in depth but there was a controversy over her actions during filming of a drama series. She basically just left Korea in the middle of shooting the series without notice. That was her way of trying to get her message across which was to give her more fair work hours and work environment. Supposedly she was working under extreme strenuous conditions and hours and I'm assuming nobody listened to her and so she just left. At the time other actors/actresses supported her because they all understood where she was coming from as fellow colleagues but viewers didn't see it that way. They just thought she was being immature and irresponsible.

Of course I really done know her based on watch her play a character in a drama or this intervitew but if a little of her real self comes through in the acting she seems like a sweet person. I can't watch her a not have a smile on my face. Hopeful she can put that incident behind her and have a successful career.
Are you talking about the controversy they were referring to at the beginning of the interview? It's too complicated to explain in a RUclips comment. Google 'dramabeans' and 'han ye seul' and 'myung-wol', and then read the posts from Aug. 14 & Aug. 15, which will give you the gist about the drama surrounding the "Myung-wol the Spy" production, although you don't really get her side of the story, because from many accounts the situation was more the PD's fault than Han Ye Seul's.
@thehacker982- in which part did he behave like a girl? maybe you should get your eyes checked, also about han ye seul's incident she is not a bitch for doing what she did but she was selfish. She could have faked illness or something to get rest if she was being overworked, but leaving the set in the middle of filming was a bit too much. She only thought about herself and forgot that her co-star's, make up crew, designers etc suffered like her too. Also, she should have fought continuously if she felt that she was treated unfairly but as soon as the fingers were pointed at her rather than stand up for her belief she came right back the next day, got on her knees and apologized to the director who she was fighting against. That says she has got no pride as well.
Prince JKs maybe effeminate in some of his action.But you know, many gay guys now a days are acting tough and masculine.Looking like a real man and even having 6 pack abs. JKs really puts a lot of sensible answers in all of his interview, So witty.
