As said in previous lecture, order of interpolating function impacts the nature of variation of independent variable (in case of beam, vertical deflection). If a simple first order (linear) function is used, the beam will appear stiffer than actual one, in FEM model.
Not only the vertical displacement, but also the slope also needs to be determined at the nodes in case of a bending problem ( beam element ) . So the slope also becomes an essential boundary condition that needs to be satisfied.
this video is not just for indians idiot...!!! this video is can be helpful to everyone across the world....!!! if u dont understand then go and find another lecture series rather than talking trash..!!
Padna hai tho 2 languages Seko Pehle..sirf Hindi aane se Kya hoga, Agar hindi mei bolenge tho south ke students ko Kaise samaj mei aayega.woh log apne local Language aur English bhi seek rahe hai....aur tum sir ko Gyan Baat rahe Ho.....kha kha se Athe hai yeh log
if u dont want to and listen to these u may go and something else...!!! just because the professor is from IIT doesnt mean that he needs to speak in hindi..!! youtube videos are not only seen by the people of that origin...!!! idiot..!!
Gracias excelente....gran explicación
Just one suggestion, please use visible pointer/cursor while explaining.
Awesome video! Thank you!
Sir,
Why first order elements should not be used in bending dominated problem and also when involving near-incompressible materials?

oh if you are so passionate of hindi , type your comment in hindi first...........IIT professors are common for all states . not for hindi belt alone.
